About the Team:
 

The Brand Manager will lead key projects that support the positioning and product strategy associated with development of the lab-created Diamonds by Pandora business.  With a vision of becoming a $Billion-dollar business and taking ownership of this rapidly emerging category, the role will be critical towards forging a disruptive, breakthrough brand and product strategy to drive Pandora’s ambitions in the space.

 

Always with an external (competitive) focus and a keen understanding of the Pandora business through both commercial and consumer lenses, the candidate will be responsible for both day-to-day planning and executing marketing activities as well as developing longer-term strategy.

 

Your Role as a Brand Manager, Design:

 

  • Support in building a 3-year product road map that will maximize sales, profits, meet customer demand, and support overall brand positioning
  • Support the development of high-performing product initiatives and all associated communication elements aligned with the Global marketing cycles.
  • Create comprehensive design briefs for new product design needs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Establish, monitor and meet project milestones.
  • Develop a project plan and work breakdown based on shifting priorities.
  • Manage the communication flow of new product and assortment lifecycle planning strategies with cross-functional counterparts, ensuring 360 planning and execution.
  • Manage assortments, milestone dates and performance analysis of owned programs, while still maintaining a holistic view of the category and role within Pandora brand
  • Research both domestic and international markets for trends and product ideas.
  • Develop new products based on consumer insights and trends.
  • Help to identify opportunities and build business cases and enable market share growth.
  • Conducting research to define consumer segments and needs. Bring creative thinking and creative problem solving and entrepreneurialism to your work.
  • Developing communication strategies that support the development of upper, mid- and lower-funnel content.
  • Build product performance reports that can help inform future launches and keep DBU team aware of trends within our business.
  • Deliver data based strategic solutions to business issues and challenges that are presented on a day-to-day basis through exceptional business analytics.
  • Analyse and identify opportunities to improve productivity across the portfolio and make recommendations on opportunities.
  •  Work with GTM and regional teams to develop assortment tiering strategies that optimize inventory.
  • Help to build principles to optimize obsolescence and provision models for DBU and reduce inventory risks.
  • Partner with global teams and local markets to include Product Design, Supply Chain, Insights, Merchandising, Finance, Marketing Channels, etc

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Economics or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 -7 years of experience from similar roles within product development and marketing
  • International experience from global environments within the fashion, jewelry, beauty, retail or FMCG industries. 
  • Previous experience working with senior leadership with both a local and global organization.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic ability
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit and trend-driven category instinct
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and bring different disciplines towards achieving a common business goal.
  • Fluency PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills with prior experience presenting to executive leadership.

 

NYC Salary Range: $118,000 to $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.  

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
