About the Team:
We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented junior attorney to provide legal support to Pandora across multiple business functions. Reporting to the Vice President of Legal and General Counsel for North America, the Associate Legal Counsel will advise on a wide range of legal matters affecting Pandora’s business, including real estate, marketing, finance, technology and more. This role will provide significant support to the legal counsel overseeing Pandora’s leasing portfolio, as Pandora is in a growth phase with aggressive expansion plans for retail stores in the US and Canada. The Associate Legal Counsel will also review and negotiate various contracts supporting the business functions. This role will be based out of Pandora’s New York office.
Your Role as Associate Legal Counsel:
• Review and draft various leases and related documents including SNDAs, estoppel certificates, amendments, assignments for real estate matters with major and independent landlords in the US and Canada in collaboration with senior legal team member and the real estate team
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
• Research and provide legal analysis on a wide variety of subject matter
• Provide legal support, analysis and work product to support legal team and various business functions
• Handle various legal matters as the need arises

• A juris doctorate from an accredited US law school
• A license to practice law in the US
• 2-4 years of experience with at a law firm or in a retail corporate legal department
• Prior in-house experience in consumer products and/or retail sectors is preferred
• Must be detail oriented and interested in personal and organizational improvement
• A legal mindset that adapts to business requirements and priorities and a problem solving mentality
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• High integrity, ability to assess risk, make decisions and think strategically while applying knowledge of applicable legal issues
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple, competing workloads with changing priorities to meet necessary deadlines
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization
• Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently, spot issues and develop business-oriented resolutions
• Curious to learn new areas of law and apply to evolving business needs
• Has strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft suite)

New York Salary: $135,000.00 - $160,000 Commensurate on Experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.
Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
