Purpose of the role
As Procurement Management, you will be the strategic procurement partner within your cluster, collaborating closely with global and local stakeholders. You will challenge established procurement methods, align local initiatives with global category strategies, and lead high-impact negotiations and supplier management to secure financial savings and sustainable value contributions across multiple categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary procurement partner to cluster leadership, providing visionary guidance on procurement activities.
- Align local procurement practices with global category strategies and Operational Procurement teams.
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and local suppliers to ensure streamlined purchasing and compliance.
- Lead complex local supplier negotiations, ensuring impactful cost management and risk mitigation.
- Promote adherence to procurement policies and champion sustainability initiatives in line with Pandora’s emissions targets.
- Support procurement for retail store construction and operations, marketing activities, HR, Finance, Tech, and other indirect services.
- Collaborate closely with Finance to validate savings pipelines and implement cost-conscious practices.
- Partner with Legal to develop robust contracting frameworks protecting Pandora’s interests.
Your Profile
- 5 to 8+ years of procurement experience, preferably within a retail environment and ideally within a global corporation’s regional branch.
- Proven expertise in procurement processes, tendering, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
- Challenger mindset with a drive to innovate and transform procurement practices.
- Leadership skills to lead change and manage dispersed teams.
- Strategic thinker capable of executing procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency, risk management, and sustainability.
