About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial operations across five dynamic markets: Italy, Turkey, Greece, UAE, and South Africa. This is a pivotal leadership role within our organization, responsible for driving financial performance, strategic planning, and operational excellence in collaboration with both cluster and global stakeholders.

As Finance Director SEMEA, you will:

• Lead the financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Drive business performance by managing commercial results and identifying growth opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making at the cluster level.
• Provide coaching and leadership to a high-performing finance team of 6 members (including 2 direct reports) plus the dotted line responsibility for Legal and IT team, including 6 members.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices and leverage insights for market success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate management information and ensure robust financial reporting.
• Guide strategic projects and execute financial analyses for cluster initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence within the finance team.
• Act as a trusted business partner for local management teams to enhance decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with global finance counterparts and global top management to align strategies.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated leader with:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally as a Cluster/Market Finance Director in a global organization.
• Industry experience in Retail, Beauty, or FMCG sectors.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management, business partnering, and influencing at senior levels.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage change effectively.
• Fluency in both Italian and English.
• An international mindset with a strategic approach to business challenges.
