Main purpose of the role:

 

The Retail Standards & Ops Specialist is responsible for effectively managing the execution of globally and locally processes and procedures to prevent business risk, protect the profit and assets of the organization, cooperating with Global team.

He/She supports stores in organization of annual inventory and ensure that store staff apply stock policies. 

He/she also supports and works closely with all the Departments in order to reach and guarantee internal compliance according to global and local guidelines, policies, requirements and fiscal law.

 

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Contribute and cooperate with other departments, in defining and in implementing of procedures to prevent business risks and preserve the company’s assets.
  • Collaborate in the efficiency and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
  • Edit and constant review of procedures and any related documents related cash management, cash flows and stock management
  • Track and report current status of any breaches identified and ensure timely resolution by coordinating with local and global teams.
  • Monitor unusual activity in store. Implement investigative measures on potential non-compliant behaviour and take appropriate discussions warnings and actions in partnership with HRBPs, DSMs and RSMs
  • Organize and plan annual inventories, cooperating with Global team,  and monitor the quality of activity.
  • Ensure accuracy of stock take results, through checks and analysis.
  • Train store staff on cash and stock management and ensure that they apply store and stock compliance policies
  • Support stores regarding requests about jewels flows
  • Ensure that the MPOS global team transposes local fiscal requirements, cooperating with IT department
  • Consult external consultants for any tax matters
  • Cooperate with finance team in order to find action plans to prevent finance losses

 

Professional qualifications & technical skills:

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Good knowledge of stock management and cash management.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports, statements and projections.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented without losing the big picture.
  • Fluent in English & Italian
