Visual Merchandising Operations Specialist

Location: Madrid, Spain 
Scope: Iberia

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager Iberia, this role is responsible for the operational execution of the Visual Merchandising strategy across the Iberian market, ensuring alignment with Pandora’s global brand image and guidelines.

You will adapt global Visual Merchandising guidelines for local implementation and provide direction to all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Your mission is to align in-store execution across the region while elevating brand consistency and impact at the point of sale.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Design local marketing and VM materials

 

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales and Merchandising teams to ensure the operational implementation of Trade Marketing and VM campaigns in-store, adapting global concepts to local needs.

  • Lead the definition and coordination of campaign assets: requirements, creation of master files, messaging, etc.

  • Brief the graphic design studio on the production of visual materials.

  • Contribute to business growth by proposing and supporting local initiatives such as traffic-driving activities, local media campaigns, and in-store events.

 

VM guidelines development

 

  • Adapt global VM guidelines to local market requirements by managing product setup, organising photoshoots, and building clear VM guides for both Retail and Wholesale channels.

  • Review the execution of local guidelines and monitor consistency across stores.

  • Evaluate VM implementation reports, provide feedback to the Sales team (DSM and RSM), and support continuous improvement.

  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Visual Merchandising execution.

 

Communication flow

 

  • Work in close coordination with the Marketing, Sales and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment across all campaigns and activations.

  • Act as a key point of contact for communication with Global HQ and other European markets.

  • Maintain up-to-date VM and Trade Marketing databases and store layout records.

  • Conduct regular store visits to assess execution and gather insights.

  • Coordinate with external partners and suppliers as needed.

 

Operational support

 

  • Provide ongoing Trade Marketing and VM reporting.

  • Support Marketing and PR activities, including showroom and event preparation.

  • Oversee the implementation of the VM setup for new store openings, including store layout planning, windows and POS materials.

 

MORE ABOUT YOU

 

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in Visual Merchandising within a retail company.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel; proficiency in Photoshop is highly valued.

  • Excellent Visual Merchandising skills with a creative and commercial mindset.
