OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Shop Director to lead the opening and long-term success of our upcoming flagship store in Barcelona. This is not a typical store management role: due to the scale, visibility and strategic importance of this location, we are looking for someone with extensive experience in retail management, ideally with a background managing multiple stores or large-scale operations.
This role offers the unique opportunity to join ahead of the store opening, allowing time for a thorough onboarding process and active involvement in the store launch preparation.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Shop Director will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and delivering strong commercial results, while consistently upholding Pandora’s brand values and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
People

Recruit, inspire and lead the store team, fostering a culture of engagement, performance and development.

Adapt leadership and coaching to varying experience levels, ensuring consistent development in people management, product knowledge and customer service.

Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment aligned with Pandora values.

Identify and develop internal talent to support long-term succession planning.
Performance and Standards

Take full ownership of store KPIs, driving sales, profitability and operational excellence.

Lead the delivery of exceptional customer experience and global brand initiatives.

Ensure outstanding execution of visual merchandising, adapting global standards to the local market.
Partnerships, Training and Communication

Collaborate with HR, Retail Operations, Training and Merchandising teams to maximise store performance.

Support the roll-out of training programs that enhance team capability and business results.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders and store team.

Participate in face-to-face training sessions and workshops to support team engagement.
Process, Analysis and Administration

Analyse business performance to identify commercial opportunities and implement actions accordingly.

Manage store scheduling, payroll and operational processes aligned with business expectations.

Provide regular feedback on product, customer behaviour and local market insights.

Previous experience as Store Manager in a high-volume or high-profile location.

Experience as Area Manager or managing multiple locations is highly valued.

A commercial and customer-oriented mindset with a strong drive for results.

Natural leadership and strong people development skills.

Highly organised and analytical, with a strategic and solution-focused mindset.

Excellent communication skills in Spanish; good level of English required.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Strong business acumen and understanding of retail KPIs.

Availability to join ahead of the store opening for onboarding and launch preparation.
