Retail Operations Specialist (temporary)
Based in Madrid
As the Retail Operations Specialist, your main mission is to plan, coordinate, and execute operations related to the activities of the stores in Spain. You will be responsible for project management aimed at optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing the customer experience, and contributing to revenue growth. This is a temporary position with an approximate duration of 7-8 months.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Project Management
- Drive and support our customer proposition projects as they evolve to support the business strategy, with a focus on understanding their impact on team members and operations.
- Identify, deliver, and manage end-to-end operational projects both initiated locally or by our head office in Denmark across all stores to optimize ways of working and support business efficiency, continuously striving for retail excellence throughout and working towards achieving key KPIs.
- Lead workshops and forums with senior leaders across the organization to build a holistic view of operational opportunities which exist today.
Collaboration and Optimization
- Collaborate with the core domain teams to craft customer-centric solutions with our product and tech teams that serve to maximize store performance.
- Understand operational impacts of domain-led initiatives on stores, considering how a new technical change may impact our customers, our team members, our ways of working, and any other existing tech within our physical stores.
- Identify new external providers when needed and collaborate with existing providers for different topics such as Engraving and Uniforms.
Analysis and Improvement
- Conduct business process analysis to highlight areas of opportunity and produce proposals to optimize our store's operating model.
MORE ABOUT YOU
- University degree in Business, Management, or similar fields.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in retail operations or project management.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines (Loyalty program, Engraving, Uniforms, Connect & Google Reviews).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, proactive, flexible and adaptable to changes.
