Ecommerce Trade & Merchandising Specialist (Temporary)

As an E-Commerce Trade & Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for driving online sales by optimising the on-site shopping journey in line with our commercial and brand objectives. You will lead the analysis of business performance, identifying top traffic sources and improving conversion across channels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Website Management
-
Interpret and analyse customer behaviour on our e-commerce site.

Lead the site experience strategy, ensuring the optimisation of all customer journeys.

Manage product enrichment and content via the Product Information System (PIM).

Operate within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
-
Support operational development roadmaps, including testing, integration, and implementation. Create training documentation where needed and take ownership in reporting bugs or defects, with a strong focus on customer service and NPS.

Contribute to the short-, medium-, and long-term development of our omnichannel and marketplace strategies from both a consumer and operational perspective.

Collaborate with the social media and customer service teams to collect and act on consumer feedback.
Analysis & Reporting

Effectively trade the website with a focus on improving user experience and performance.

Drive sales and conversion by optimising key touchpoints such as navigation, on-site search, and sort orders.

Execute promotions and offers accurately and on time through Salesforce.

Support the Trading & Optimisation Manager in the sales planning process.

Participate in UAT and the launch of new digital features.

Provide regular analysis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) on KPIs, campaign and promotional performance, top navigation, and sorting behaviour.

Evaluate user behaviour across digital channels (SEO, PPC, Affiliate, Email, Display), implementing segmentation strategies including behavioural analysis.

Support the CRM team with segmentation analysis and the generation of actionable customer insights.

Collaborate with local and regional merchandising teams to report on product and category performance and stock availability.

Analyse content and customer journeys to support retention strategies and repeat purchases, in close collaboration with the Web Merchandising Specialist.
Communication & Alignment

Maintain strong communication with cluster and group stakeholders regarding trade and analytics topics, coordinating platform optimisation and new feature rollouts for the local site.

Collaborate with the Media & Traffic Specialist to optimise media investments.

Work closely with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to ensure alignment on the commercial calendar and overall brand expression.

Coordinate with the CRO Manager to implement and measure merchandising A/B tests.
MORE ABOUT YOU

Strong experience in e-commerce, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Good working knowledge of tools such as Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Content Square, Monetate (or similar).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Skilled at analysing large and complex datasets, with high attention to detail.

Proven ability to identify and action business growth opportunities through data analysis.

Previous experience in e-commerce merchandising or close collaboration with merchandising teams.

Able to clearly communicate complex insights to business stakeholders.

Confident in challenging opinions and decisions using data.

Commercially focused, with a strong drive to support online sales as part of a collaborative team.

Curious, proactive and hands-on, with a can-do attitude.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience managing full web development project lifecycles is a plus.
