We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Search professional to join the digital marketing team as a Search Marketing Manager. This role is extremely fast paced, so a highly organised and self-motivated individual is essential.

Reporting into the Head of Paid Media, and working closely with the wider Marketing team, this role is responsible for leading the implementation of the digital strategy across Search (PPC & SEO) and Affiliates for Pandora UK & Ireland. The role will constitute a key interface between Pandora’s global teams, local performance agencies and the wider UK business including eCommerce.

What to expect from the role

  • Lead Search and Affiliate performance, managing the media agencies to execute digital marketing campaigns to a high standard.
  • Own the budgets for Search and Affiliates.
  • Collaborate with wider Paid Media and Go to Market teams to ensure alignment and optimisation across all channels.
  • Facilitate relationships between UK, regional and global digital marketing teams, sharing learnings and pioneering the UK as a leading market.
  • Manage & develop one FTE (Search Coordinator)

 

Search (PPC & SEO)

 

  • Create, lead, and develop the search strategy (PPC & SEO) for the UK & Ireland with full control over significant budgets.
  • Support the Head of Paid Media in driving forward strategy, innovation, and commercial results.
  • Own the test & learn roadmap in conjunction with Global Search leads.
  • Be the business & relationship owner with the Search agency.
  • Lead the relationship with Google and Microsoft, pro-actively seeking out the latest betas.
  • Monitor and manage weekly, monthly and post-campaign reporting ensuring the channels hit eCom revenue and traffic targets.
  • Assist with upcoming campaign planning, supplying commercial calendars, ad copy and creative assets.
  • Liaise with eCommerce, ensuring SEO on-site optimisations are implemented.
  • Lead SEO link-building campaigns to drive high quality outreach, backlinks and content.
  • Adopt a test and learn approach, keeping up to date with industry developments, best practices and new platform features.

 

Affiliate Marketing

 

  • Lead the affiliate channel and agency relationship.
  • Own campaign planning and budget management and allocation, with strategic approach to commission, tenancy placements and campaign opportunities.
  • Support with innovative tactics for programme growth to determine channel strategy, objectives and KPIs.
  • Drive commercial results and eCom revenue targets through continuous and detailed analysis of campaign performance, using learnings and recommendations to responsively grow programme performance.

 

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Expertise leading large, complex PPC accounts & significant budgets is essential
  • Will have SA360 experience
  • Experience of additional core digital channels, including SEO and Affiliates
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and analytical, with an ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience with digital analytics tools
  • Enthusiasm, positive approach, energy and passion for digital marketing
  • Results focused and data-driven, with keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of the latest technologies and advertising solutions in the industry
