Engineer Manager (MarTech & Data Analytics)

We are looking for a strong leader to help us build the next generation of Marketing Technology (MarTech) & Data Analytics to enable the rapid growth of Pandora and bring what people love. 

We are pushing the bar for what is possible as we strive to build a highly scalable and robust Marketing platform to support our needs and enable personalization.


Core Responsibilities


  • Managing people (engineers), 3 to 5 senior employees, up to 9.
  • Help define and deliver the target MarTech platforms.
  • Help define engineering Objectives and Key Results
  • Attract diverse talent and lead a team of highly skilled engineers
  • Boost capabilities and drive engineers' growth and personal development through mentoring and coaching.
  • Enable product teams to meet business needs by ensuring the proper allocation of talent.
  • Drive technical excellence and DevSecOps ambitions.
  • Support Agile Methodologies and Continuous Improvement.

Do you have what it takes?


  • Strong seniority in managing people (engineers)
  • Seniority in working with software development
  • Experience with making people successful
  • Experience with OKRs
  • Knowledge and experience with MarTech technologies
  • Knowledge and experience with eCom and retail
  • Proficiency in Data analytics, first-party and 3 party data
  • Strong architecture experience
  • Passion for, and ability to, lead both people and technology.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a true team player
  • Seniority in working with software development
  • Hands-on experience with software development
  • Experience with Tech like Event-Driven Architecture, C#, JAVA, Kafka, Databricks, microservice Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Knowledge and experience with SCRUM and Agile
  • Proficient in building scalable solutions
  • Experience with software development and building DevOps Team

You will be essential to the data engineering organization and Pandora’s extended Data & Analytics community. You will work within the data product engineering team in a virtual and agile-based organization.

As we are a growing team, you will be a part of our expansion to our Digital Hub in London located in Marylebone, where you will get to work with fellow Data Engineers, Front-end Engineers, Architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and much more.
