What You'll Do:

 

  • To manage Marketing Analytics Product Lines engineering teams.
  • To own the architecture vision for the Product Line.
  • To design, develop and communicate models, processes, tools, standards and methodologies for Product Line.
  • To set architectural standards and principles for the engineers to apply across product teams to maintain technical consistency.
  • To support the Product Line and product teams with finding technical and architectural solutions. Defines the technical solution and roadmap.

  • Manage engineering team for Marketing Analytics Product Line.
  • Accountability for hiring, personal development, training & upskilling of Product Line engineers.
  • Working closely with your colleagues within a product team to design scalable, efficient, and stable products.
  • Support the PL and product teams with finding technical and architectural solutions. Define the technical solution and roadmap. 
  • Own your data products and track continuous stability and benefits. 
  • Live and breathe a “build-once-consume-many” culture, in which we enable others to use our data products for maximum value-add. 
  • Evangelist of DevOps principles especially automation and reliability. Ensure common objectives towards quality and velocity of product deliveries
  • Work with stakeholders and teams to assist with data-related technical challenges. 

 

Supporting and enabling processes of…

 

  • Working across product teams & platform team to overcome technical challenges and help facilitate technical solutions.
  • Promote engineering standards and best practice.
  • Working closely with AI & ML colleagues to push the envelope on high value use cases.
  • Working closely with platform team to
  • Involvement in strategic priorities and partner on technology matters
  • Manage technology and ensure compliance with internal policies.  
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems in IT infrastructure and CI/CD tools
  • Further introduce CI/CD and automation of processes related to test, deployments and releases with platform team
  • Anchoring, aligning and connect the dots between IT service management, infrastructure, GDPR and Security
  • Documentation of IT infrastructure, tools and processes related to development and deployment.

 

What You Have:

 

  • Relevant education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or Statistics. 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a Software engineering role with a focus on data. 
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Proven experience with Airflow, Databricks, Spark, Python, Kafka, Delta Lake ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, and Power BI.  
  • Strong skills in Python with or another object-oriented or functional/scripting language like Java or Scala. 
  • DevOps and CI/CD focus. 
  • Hands-on with git and coding best practice. 
  • Unit testing. 
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakehouse, and data modeling 
  • Experience with handling streaming data through Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live tables, Azure Streaming Analytics, Apache Flink, or ksqlDB.
  • Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets  
  • Experience in working with Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers. 
  • Designed, built, and delivered production-ready data products at an enterprise level. 
  • Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels.  
  • Agile mindset and experience of Scrum.
