  • Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal capacity resource utilization.
  • Analyse forecast demand to identify pre-build or planning backlog situations in finished goods and capacity resource levels.
  • Analyse capacity needed to meet constrained/unconstrained demand. Review the results, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to prevent capacity constraints.
  • Analyse capacity needed to meet customer order placement. Review the results, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity and avoid customer order amendments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on planning parameters and optimize capacity to meet forecast demand.
  • Ensure production orders are delivered to stakeholders with inventory optimization in mind.
  • Review inventory levels (finished goods, casted parts, spare parts), and coordinate with the scheduling team for optimal inventory management.
  • Review aging inventory, and coordinate with the order management team to verify the forecast before disposal.
  • Identify improvement initiatives to increase capacity planning effectiveness.
  • Monitor your own performance and address gaps/improvement opportunities.


We love that you are…

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, industrial management, or another relating field.
  • 3-5 years of Capacity Planning experience in Planning/Supply Chain role with at least 1-3 years of experience in supervisor level within manufacturing industry.
  • Good in English both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ERP system (e.g. AX, SAP)
  • Good at Excel, Power query, Power BI 
  • Possess with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Highly flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs.
  • Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
