  • Oversee and recommend Production schedule of production site to ensure optimum cost, production benefits as well as maximizing shared KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Production to determine planning parameters that align with production conditions and ensure optimal production schedule and plan adherence.
  • Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders in C&S that are Supply Chain (Master Planning, Materials management, Logistics), Pre-Production, Production, PEX and Finance. o    Ensure correct translation of customer orders into weekly and daily production schedules while collaborating effectively with Production.
  • Review and discuss performance variance against KPI target with key stakeholders (Master Planning, Materials management, Logistics, Pre-Production, Production, PEX, I&PD and ensure corrective actions are taken in timely manner
  • Initiate, support and drive improvement project relate to Production scheduling to support Company KPIs and strategy
  • Monitor day-to-day operational report and coordinate with related team to ensure plan adherence and appropriate WIP level and progress. o    Review and follow up on the weekly sequencing and production output according to the priority requested. Balance/ prioritize orders and escalate to Master Planning in case of exceptions and proactively track daily status.
  • Monitor potential delays and collaborate with Master Planning and Production to resolve exceptions
  • Provide backorder recovery plan with Master Planning to update GSC.
  • Support scheduling of centralized activities including granulations, plastic injections, stamping, and glass beads
  • Review shipment plan, production scheduling, and follow-up on production control issues as necessary at each production site to ensure alignment and achievement of key KPIs.
    • Manage shipment plan and Production schedule to support priority of Campaign order, Essential order, Expedite request, Replenishment.
    • Review and support scheduler to clarify input, and scheduling parameters, considering production constraints and resource availability in the short-term horizon and work closely with the relevant team (e.g. T&O) to set realistic and achievable production targets within defined scheduling parameters.
    • Review schedule production orders on short horizons (0-6 weeks LT) in all production steps over available capacity & RM availability (e.g. skill capacity, RM availability) and align production orders with Production before release to shop floor.
    • Coordinate with Production and shop floor controller to ensure plan adherence, as well as correct volume and timing.
    • Monitor schedule effectiveness on the shopfloor and adjust as required
    • Review and monitor the backorder recovery progress and ensure the fill-kill process follows the policy.
  • Identify exceptions to plan and prioritize between orders in constrained situations, adjust plan to maintain FROT (e.g. Additional production orders to cover for rejects), create tactical workarounds/plan revisions to address issues and escalate to Master Planning if necessary, and identify alternative routing and allocations if required at each production site while collaborating effectively with Production.
  • Align capacity level and constraints of each production site to be used in S&OP with Production and Master planning.
  • Review scheduling parameter and master data accuracy and collaborate with related teams (e.g. STD accuracy) to correct for scheduling effectiveness.
  • Share best practices in scheduling among team members.
  • Review production stock and obsolete rubber mold and take action to meet inventory target.
  • Monitor performance, address gaps, seek input and take action for improvement of scheduling performance and Company KPIs.
  • Initiate, support, and drive projects to support Company Strategy and strategic initiative as aligned with SC&S and production site managements.
  • Monitor system (APS, Scheduling tool, AX) feature & performance and recommend for system process effectiveness and efficiency improvement.

 

 

We love that you are…

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Industrial management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Planning, especially in the area of production scheduling or capacity planning, at least 3 years in managerial position.
  • Good Know-How and Hands-On experience in AX ERP or similar
  • Ability to relate cooperatively with internal and external departments.
  • Familiar with labor intensive operations where production planning/scheduling rely on multi-skilled manpower
  • Familiar with planning/ scheduling for fast changing products, changing product mix/complexity.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment (Jewelry experience i•    Drive the solution to most complex business problems
  • Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial)
  • Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs
  • Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity
