Key Objective:

The Officer, Machine Maintenance, is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of machines through routine preventive maintenance, service maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs as needed. Key responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, documenting maintenance activities, improving machine efficiency & reliability, ensure machine run at high capacity with optimum maintenance cost, and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to support overall operation goals. Efficient communication, training operators, managing inventory, and staying updated on technological advancements are also crucial aspects of the role. collaborating with the team, continuous learning, and strict adherence to safety practices

Key Duties:

Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure machines operate efficiently and minimize the risk of unexpected breakdowns
Perform scheduled service maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal working condition, addressing wear and tear
Address machine breakdowns promptly, troubleshoot issues, and execute necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Strictly adhere to safety standards and protocols, creating a secure working environment for all team members.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive measures for future reference.
Identify opportunities to enhance machine efficiency and implement improvements to optimize overall performance
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including production teams, and external stakeholders, such as equipment suppliers and contractors/Service Providers, to support overall production goals
Ensure clear and efficient communication within the maintenance team and with other relevant departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Provide training sessions for machine operators on basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures.
Stay updated on technological advancements in machine maintenance and implement relevant innovations to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate proactively with the maintenance team, sharing insights, addressing challenges, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in machine maintenance.
Enforce and uphold strict safety practices both of maintenance team and contractors, fostering a safety-first mindset and ensuring a secure work environment.
Set standard for machine setup work instruction and procedure to perform machine set up for operation as per work instruction and procedure
Participate in buyoff or factory acceptance test process for new machine, new tool,ensure they are qualified and ready for operation.
Involving to generate relevant document for operation (Build Sheet, Work Instruction and supported document for machine operatio

Experieance:

At least 2-3 years of practical experience in machine maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in preventive, service, and breakdown maintenance.
Knowledge of machinery operations, troubleshooting techniques, and hands-on experience in making repairs and improvements.
Relevant certifications in machine maintenance, safety protocols, or any industry-specific qualifications.
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards with certifications in occupational safety and health.
Basic familiarity with inventory management principles, ensuring the availability of necessary components for maintenance activities.
Experience in industrial automation machinery (Machine Automation) and have knowledge in the automation machinery industry.
Background in Jewellery industry will be advantage.
