We are seeking a strategic and influential Procurement Manager to lead the transformation of procurement practices across our Western Europe cluster. Reporting directly to the Global Procurement Director and Finance Director, this senior individual contributor role will shape the future of procurement, challenging existing norms, forging strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable impact on both operational efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner for Leadership in cluster: Act as the primary point of contact and strategic procurement partner within the cluster, providing visionary leadership for all procurement-related activities
- Strategic alignmen: Foster alignment between Global Category Managers, Operational Procurement teams, and local procurement efforts to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
- Stakeholder influence: Cultivate and maintain trust with key local stakeholders, proactively guiding purchase requests through optimal channels.
- Procurement Excellence: Lead the identification, negotiation, selection, and management of local supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to global sourcing processes and frameworks. Support global teams in regional RFx processes and provide strategic insights to inform global category strategies. Think Global, Act local.
- High stakes Negotiation: Lead negotiations for major local agreements, ensuring substantial impact on local P&L and effective risk management.
- Supplier Accountability: Hold relevant local suppliers to the agreed performance standards, intervening as necessary to enhance value delivery.
- Policy Advocacy: Champion local awareness and adherence to key procurement policies and processes.
- Strategy Implementation: Drive the implementation of global category management strategies and guidelines at the local level across diverse categories:
- Build Store: Partner with local property teams on procurement for retail store construction.
- Run Store: Manage procurement for retail store operations, including facility management and other essential services.
- Local Marketing: Support local marketing teams in procuring vendors for PR, events, and local influencers.
- Other Indirect Services: Oversee procurement across HR, Finance, Tech and other indirect services.
- Local Sustainability Leadership: Collaborate with central sustainability teams to drive local initiatives that contribute to Pandora's emissions reduction targets.
- Legal Partnership: Establish strong collaborative relationships with local Legal teams to develop and enforce contracting templates and practices that safeguard Pandora's interests.
- Financial Stewardship & Cost mind set: Collaborate closely with local Finance to review and validate savings pipelines, institutionalizing rigorous cost management practices.
More about you:
- Extensive Procurement Experience & toolbox: Deep knowledge and expertise in procurement processes, tendering/negotiations, supplier management, and understanding of procurement strategies at the global and local level to ensure strategic alignment.
- Communication skills: Requires high-level communication skills to influence senior stakeholders, negotiate major agreements, and align global and local procurement efforts.
- Challenger mind set: Challenging traditional methods to achieve strategic objectives.
- Languages: French and English fluent.
