Reporting to the Finance Director, Western Europe, you will ensure that Pandora is compliant and transparent in its financial reporting in the country, whether it be month-end closing processes, annual closing or recurring activities within control.
We ensure we deliver high quality reporting and support the commercial organisation through accurate data so that they can focus on commercial performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Grant that financial information for France is aligned to business reality, by working with a shared service centre and finance business partners
- Cooperate and coordinate across different functions across the country, as well as with our global team in Denmark
- Ensure rating requirements for Internal controls for France are delivered on time in full.
- Lead the month end close process, calculating accruals and supervising that information is correctly recorded and reported.
- Ensure an efficient operational setup within Financial Controlling in Spain and Portugal and develop/optimise processes to increase the value of support given to the business
- Work hand-in-hand with commercial finance manager to ensure full transparency in reporting and that we are providing accurate numbers in our performance tracking
- Support local organization on financial and business controlling tasks (management of trade payables, invoices, accruals etc) – utilising shared services to the extent possible
- Ensure we are compliant on all group requirements and local statutory requirements
- Ensure a smooth cooperation with external partners, ie PWC on external accounts-
- Lead the yearly statutory audit process and contribute to interim global audits impacting France.
- Look after Balance Sheet, identifying risks and improving quality of information reported.
MORE ABOUT YOU
- 2-5 years’ experience working in Financial Controlling or similar positions.
- Experience in a global or international organisation
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry is an advantage
- Experience with French statutory accounts
- Fluent in French and in English
- Experience on EPM tools (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus), Hyperion Financial Management.
- Strong skills on Microsoft Office
- People oriented
