E-commerce Optimization & Personalization Specialist

The E-Commerce Optimization Specialist is responsible for supporting the CRO Manager in the process to ensure Pandora operates under best practice framework with regards to testing & optimisation. This includes supporting the local A/B testing program from an E-commerce perspective and generating & supporting KPI driving insights to feed into the process from a variety of data sources (qualitative & quantitative).

 

Day to day it is expected that this role generates insights and identifies consumer pain points and opportunities in journeys, creates/supports business cases and hypotheses for running a test, build and executes tests where possible to do locally (in both Monetate and Salesforce), QA and monitor frequently, then support with post-test reporting and insights sharing.

Supporting the testing roadmap, making sure any changes and updates are made and reporting back to the rest of the local team.

The specific areas for testing should include: merchandising testing within Salesforce, product recommendations, working with Global CRO team and Global Digital Experience on UX/UI initiatives, content testing, personalization testing and other broader initiatives such as data capture and optimizing campaign launches.

 

The role combines directly leading/supporting local optimization initiatives with working with the Global CRO team on executing and shaping Global initiatives. The role also entails working with other Testing & Optimisation Specialists - to ensure skills, knowledge, best practices and recommendations are shared between clusters to also support best-in-class local optimization programs - with both global and local programs synthesizing and collaborating to ensure maximum benefit to Pandora as a whole

 

WHO YOU ARE 

 

At least 5 years’ experience in a data analytical or ecommerce trading role

  • Previous experience working closely with merchandising team preferred
  • Previous experience working in omnichannel retail required
  • The ideal candidate must have a solid analytics background, must be able to deliver actionable insights with high accuracy and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Have a strong background in using Adobe Analytics or equivalent
  • Experience with using BI tools like PowerBI, Excel, QlikView or equivalent
  • Understanding of key elements that impact digital ecommerce e.g. customer journey management, website personalisation, online merchandising, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, basket abandonment analysis and competitor benchmarking
  • Performs work with care, accuracy, and attention to detail and strives to meet quality standards
  • Commercially focused in driving sales online and working in a support role within a team
  • Knowledge and application of best practice customer insight principles
  • Pro-active and results orientated with strong analytical skills
  • High intellectual curiosity with ability to develop new knowledge and skills and use new concepts, digital systems & processes to improve performance
  • Comfortable with challenging opinions using data to support
  • Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • Speak English and French; Spanish is a plus
