E-commerce Optimization & Personalization Specialist

We are looking for an eCommerce passionate to join our eCommerce team as an E-Commerce Optimization Specialist with the responsibility for online purchase conversion through an optimized customer journey and building personalization strategies. Working with Local and Global eCommerce teams, you will take a quantitative and qualitative data driven approach to identify website inefficiencies and opportunities. You will propose, plan and execute A/B tests to deliver data supporting on-site personalization and optimization strategies and to influence implementation of new or improved site capabilities.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Identify customer pain points, functional and design opportunities across websites, to develop and implement web optimization solutions to provide the best-in-class online user experience.
  • Create business cases and hypotheses for A/B tests, build and execute tests, monitor its performance and support with post-test reporting and insights.
  • The specific areas for testing could include: site navigation architecture and refinements, product pages, sales funnel, campaign launches, promotions, onsite content, trading and web merchandising tools (e.g. product recommendations widgets, sorting rules etc.).
  • Take ownership of testing and personalization roadmap cocreated with global and local eCommerce teams.
  • Understand customers’ shopping behaviors and preferences to build customers groups and propose personalization strategies within personalized usage of trading tools, onsite content and messaging.
  • Execute weekly personalized experiences across homepage, category and product pages for key target audiences and track performance daily to optimize low converting experiences.
  • Take a customer first approach. Understand customer feedback using tools such as website surveys, post purchase reviews, etc. to create strategies and prioritize site improvements based on customer needs.
  • Build strong internal relationships with WEEU eCommerce, merchandising, retail marketing & Global eCommerce teams.
  • Collaborate with and learn from colleagues in similar roles globally to ensure skills, knowledge, best practices and recommendations are shared between clusters to support best-in-class local optimization program.

 

MORE ABOUT YOU

 

· 4-5 years of experience in eCommerce (ideally on a similar position) using analytical, testing and personalization tools such as: Salesforce, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, Monetate AB testing, Bloomreach or equivalent.

· Previous experience working closely with merchandising team preferred

· Fluent English (French and Spanish is a plus).

· Good understanding of online user behavior, conversion path and strategies to improve online sales.

· Data-driven approach, use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions and identify opportunities.
