Marketing Director, Western Europe (WEEU)

This is a pivotal role in shaping Pandora’s brand presence across France, Spain, and Portugal. You will lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution across all channels, ensuring alignment with Pandora’s global vision while tailoring initiatives to meet the unique needs of Western European consumers. As a key member of the WEEU leadership team, you will influence regional strategy, drive performance, and inspire cross-functional collaboration. 

 

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in consumer marketing, a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, and a passion for brand building and innovation. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategic Leadership & Brand Stewardship 

  • Own the regional brand strategy and annual marketing plans, ensuring alignment with global priorities and local market needs. 

  • Champion the Pandora brand across all touchpoints, driving consistency, quality, and emotional connection with consumers. 

  • Influence the global marketing agenda by representing the voice of Western Europe. 

 

Commercial & Consumer Impact 

  • Ensure the Trading Line-Up (TLU) is synchronized with global plans while maintaining local relevance. 

  • Leverage consumer insights and market trends to identify growth opportunities and shape impactful marketing initiatives. 

  • Drive performance management and implement corrective actions when trading falls below expectations. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner closely with Sales, CRM, Trade VM, Media, PR, and Global Marketing to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns. 

  • Foster strong relationships with external partners across France, Spain, and Portugal. 

  • Ensure integration of all elements of the marketing mix for maximum impact. 

 

Leadership & Execution Excellence 

  • Lead and inspire a team of 7 direct reports across multiple marketing disciplines. 

  • Manage marketing programs from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. 

  • Own and actively manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring financial goals are met. 

 

Skills & Experience Required: 

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably within the consumer goods industry. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred. 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans. 

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. 

  • Fluent in English and French; Spanish and Portuguese are a plus. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
