Assortment Planning Assistant
Collection merchandising assistant will support collection merchandising team in overseeing the business by analyzing data across the collections, prepare stock analysis and will be responsible of operational tasks about wholesale and outlet channels. The role requires attention to detail, care, passion for product and love for the brand together with commitment and effort to meet deadlines.
Merchandising Strategy:
· In collaboration with the assortment planner execute buying and merchandising plans that drive sales, enhance product visibility, and optimize inventory levels across all channels.
· Analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to make informed decisions on product assortments.
· Execute operational tasks about store tiering strategy by market to ensure an effective and high-quality product range that meets customer needs.
· Set up analysis and files for cross functional meetings with VM, training and marketing team to ensure right visibility and knowledge of the product according to the merchandising strategy.
· Support the collection merchandising in the buying and demand planning of the wholesale channel.
· Responsible of the assortment, buying planning, replenishment process and pricing of outlet channel.
· Maintain operational functions, including: product systems, SKU management, and support with details and content for product replenishment in wholesale and outlets.
· Support Collection Merchandising team with all operational activities related to new store openings and relocations.
Inventory Management:
· Prepare ad hoc analysis on inventory performance to support assortment planner on a weekly basis.
· Work with assortment planner to address proposals of rebalance of stock.
· Prepare weekly/monthly reports on stock.
Market Analysis and Trend Forecasting:
· Support the assortment planner with structured analysis on market and competitors taking into account classification of product and pricing positioning in different markets, with the aim of a constant update to the team.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Work closely with the whole merchandising team and collaborate proactively with Global teams or other departments when required.
MORE ABOUT YOU
· First experience (apprenticeships included) in merchandising or buying
· Experience and passion for the cluster retail market and a deep understanding of the customer
· Strong communication skills with business stakeholders
· Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and strong drive to resolve issues
· Fluent English and French, Spanish is a plus.
