About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, this Key Account Manager will play a critical role in driving sustainable commercial growth by managing and developing strategic distributor partnerships. You will combine deep relationship management with commercial expertise to deliver joint business plans, drive Sell-In and Sell-Out performance, and grow our wholesale footprint across the Asia Cluster. Working cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Property & Network, Merchandising, and Finance to build and execute joint business plans, optimize distributor performance, and identify new growth opportunities

Key areas of responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key distributor partnerships, building trusted long-term relationships
  • Lead joint business planning with distributor partners to unlock growth opportunities
  • Identify, negotiate, and deliver new business opportunities, including new store openings, expansion, and upgrading existing multibrand accounts
  • Own forecasting, P&L delivery, and performance against channel KPIs (Sell-In, Sell-Out, UPT, basket size, margin)
  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Sales, eCommerce, Property & Network, and Marketing to deliver integrated channel strategies
  • Support business development initiatives including new store openings, distribution expansion and account growth.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to monitor KPIs and drive performance
  • Ensure high brand and visual standards across our partner stores

 

What type of expertise does the position need?

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in new business develop in wholesale and retail ideally in fashion, jewellery, or FMCG
  • Strong background in joint business planning with franchise, department store, or multibrand partners across multiple markets in Asia
  • Proven ability to manage Sell-In and Sell-Out forecasting and reporting
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a track record of building collaborative, win-win partnerships
  • Commercially astute, target-driven, and confident in managing account P&L
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI / Tableau an advantage)
