About Pandora Vietnam

Pandora’s new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

 

Key objectives:
•    Ensure all WWTP for PPV meet all legal and Pandora environmental standards.
•    Maintain stable and safe operation of all WWTP systems and equipment.
•    Execute preventive maintenance and maintain accurate calibration of instruments.
•    Control and optimize chemical usage and sludge management costs.
•    Maintain complete wastewater documentation and perform accurate reporting.
•    Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
•    Drive continuous improvement for safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.


Key duties:
1. Operation & Monitoring :
•    Operate all WWTP in accordance with SOP and O&M manuals.
•    Monitor daily wastewater parameters (pH, ORP, conductivity, flow rate, tank levels, COD/BOD sampling, etc.).
•    Control chemical dosing systems and support sludge handling and dewatering operations.
•    Respond promptly to system alarms, abnormalities, and emergency conditions.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance :
•    Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, blowers, mixers, sensors, filter press, chemical dosing units, and related systems.
•    Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; support root cause analysis.
•    Assist in calibration and verification of pH/ORP/flow/conductivity instruments.
•    Record all maintenance activities and complete CMMS work orders on time.
3. Environmental Compliance :
•    Ensure treated effluent consistently meets Vietnam legal standards and Pandora environmental requirements.
•    Coordinate wastewater sampling, laboratory testing, and discharge reporting.
•    Support internal and external environmental audits (ISO, VSIP, authorities).
•    Maintain strict compliance with all environmental and regulatory guidelines.
4. Documentation & Reporting :
•    Maintain accurate daily logs, chemical usage records, and sludge disposal documentation.
•    Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly WWTP performance reports.
•    Update CMMS equipment data, work orders, and maintenance history.
•    Maintain up-to-date O&M manuals, calibration logs, and system documentation.

5. Contractor & Vendor Coordination :
•    Coordinate with WWTP service contractors, OEM vendors, and chemical suppliers.
•    Review service reports and monitor chemical and consumable deliveries.
•    Ensure all contractors comply with Pandora EHS and operational standards.
6. Continuous Improvement & Safety :
•    Support improvement initiatives to optimize chemical usage, enhance process efficiency, and reduce operational cost.
•    Participate in commissioning, testing, and handover of WWTP upgrades or new installations.
•    Follow all EHS procedures for chemical handling, equipment operation, and confined space activities.
•    Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence within the WWTP operations.

 

Job requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Water Treatment Engineering, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with relevant wastewater treatment experience.

•    3-5 years of practical experience in operating and maintaining industrial wastewater treatment systems, preferably in manufacturing, plating, or chemical processing environments.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and propose effective solutions.
•    High sense of responsibility, discipline, and integrity, especially when handling chemicals, environmental parameters, and compliance data.
•    Strong safety mindset and adherence to EHS procedures related to chemical handling, confined spaces, and wastewater operations.
•    Attention to detail in monitoring parameters, documenting data, and maintaining system accuracy.
•    Good communication and reporting skills, able to work with internal teams, contractors, and external authorities.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality performance.
•    Good teamwork and collaboration skills, especially when coordinating with Facilities, Production, EHS, VSIP, and vendors.
•    Adaptability and willingness to learn, especially new wastewater technologies, SOPs, and regulatory updates.
•    Proactive and improvement-oriented, continuously seeking ways to optimize chemical usage, reduce waste, and enhance system reliability.
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills for managing reports, tasks, and maintenance schedules.machinery (Fastener, Drive & Transmission, Hydraulic, Process, etc.)
