About Pandora Vietnam

Pandora’s new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

 

Key responsibilities:

1. Production Scheduling & Master Planning

• Develop and maintain mid-term and short-term production plans in line with demand and capacity.

• Balance resources between lines, shifts, and production sites to maximize efficiency.

• Conduct capacity analysis and scenario planning to identify bottlenecks and support business decisions.

• Ensure schedule adherence, monitor deviations, and escalate constraints when required.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Shopfloor Control, and Engineering to resolve scheduling conflicts.

• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle from a production perspective, ensuring supply-demand alignment.

 

2. Materials Management (Direct & Indirect Materials)

• Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability based on production master plan.

• Define inventory parameters (safety stock, MOQ, lead time) and regularly update based on business changes.

• Monitor inventory levels to balance service, cost, and working capital.

• Prioritize material allocation between production orders and sites in case of shortages.

• Work with Procurement and Suppliers to secure on-time, in-full deliveries and expedite shipments when needed.

• Coordinate with Logistics for inter-site material transfer planning.

• Execute purchase-to-pay activities when required (call-offs, follow-ups, invoice processing).

• Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing to ensure sufficient material supply for OEM/ODM.

 

3. Planning Systems & Process Excellence

• Act as business lead for planning system implementation and upgrades (SAP, O9, Quintiq CP, AX).

• Ensure master data accuracy and planning parameters are properly maintained.

• Drive automation, data transparency, and planning best practices across the team.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) by assessing material readiness and planning impact.

• Lead improvement initiatives to reduce FROT, shorten lead times, and optimize scheduling accuracy.

 

4. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Master Planning, Production, and Quality to ensure end-to-end supply chain execution.

• Represent Vietnam in regional and global planning forums to align capacity, scheduling, and materials strategy.

• Build strong collaboration with Thailand and Europe stakeholders to share data, constraints, and solutions.

• Act as the key contact point for production and material planning topics in audits, reviews, and external stakeholder meetings.

 

5. Leadership & People Development

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of planners and material controllers.

• Foster a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure effective workload distribution and build a talent pipeline for future leadership.

• Encourage a collaborative and humble mindset, strengthening cross-department teamwork.

 

Job requirements:

• 7+ years in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning and materials management. At least 3 years in managerial position.

• Strong track record in MRP, capacity planning, and supply chain optimization.

• Hands-on experience with SAP, O9 (IBP), Quintiq CP, or similar planning systems. Familiar with planning/ scheduling for fast changing products, changing product mix/complexity.

• Previous exposure to multi-site or international manufacturing is an advantage

• Ability to relate cooperatively with internal and external departments.

• Familiar with labor intensive operations where production planning/scheduling rely on multi-skilled manpower
