For our Distribution Center in Hamburg-Moorfleet we are looking for a

 

Security Manager (m/f/d) in fulltime

This role is dedicated to managing day-to-day security operations at Pandora’s Distribution Centre in Hamburg, with a strong on-site presence. Therefore, legal right to work in EU is a key element for this role. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the site leadership team, facility manager, and Pandora Global Security, driving physical security, loss prevention, and health and safety initiatives. Key responsibilities include assessing and mitigating security risks, establishing a foundational security framework, and enhancing protections for our colleagues and premises.

In this role, you will lead site emergency response planning, optimize security measures, and standardize security protocols. Additionally, you’ll work to build a culture of security awareness within the DC, fostering compliance and reinforcing a strong control environment that drives continuous security improvements

  • Implement initiatives and projects within the Security Strategy in alignment the Global Security Team.

  • Support resilience of Distribution Center operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning activities for the site.

  • Be a key point of contact and support site leadership team in making risk and data driven decisions in the events of an incident.

  • Research, analyse and identify patterns within the inventory to drive efficient loss prevention program to minimise losses and increase efficiency.

  • Serve as a single point of contact and coordinate day-to-day security activities at the EMEA Distribution Center.

  • Serve as an advisor to site leadership team in coordinating measures to manage security related risks with internal and external parties (e.g. law enforcement agencies, official bodies, industry associations, etc.)

  • Executing occupational health and safety tasks in compliance with the related codes and regulations.

  • Collaboration and alignment with our external security company and guards.

  • Design and implement a suit of standards, policies and procedures to protect colleagues, assets, premises and supply chain.

  • Identify non-compliant behaviour and take appropriate discussions and actions.

  • Keep informed on industry best practice and benchmarks, highlighting areas of new risks and any initiatives to ensure Pandora remains protected.

  • Assess physical security posture as well as health and safety set-up and develop strategy to introduce improvements focused where most needed.

  • Relevant security or risk-related experience. (e.g., security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance or similar)

  • Relevant experience with physical security systems, investigation technics and management of contracted security guards.

  • Relevant experience in working with data.

  • Good understanding of security standards such as SBD.

  • Background in stakeholder management and exception communication skills.

  • You are excited to work cross-functional and in a complex international environment.

  • Solution focused and proven problem solver

  • Highly analytical and able to provide detailed, clear and concise reports

  • Flexible and capable of working under pressure, prioritising tasks with competing deadlines to optimise business results

  • Excellent business accuracy in German and English to maintain communications.
