For our Distribution Center in Hamburg we are looking for you as

 

Director Omni Operations Excellence (m/f/d) 


Are you an experienced leader with expertise within operations, data analytics and project management? Are you keen on setting world-class standards and leading transformation in the global distribution network of the largest branded Jewellery Manufacturer in the world?

 

As the Director Omni Operations Excellence (m/f/d) you will be responsible for leading the central function in Pandora’s EMEA Distribution Center responsible for setting standards within our operations, incl. warehousing, logistics, customer relations and trade and customs to support our journey to become a world-class OMNI operations distribution center. Your team will focus on excelling the performance of our operations through implementing lean processes, on point project management, and a transformation of the digital system landscape. Furthermore, this role is responsible for all analytics and reporting ensuring efficient business monitoring, data analytics and business intelligence and build the base for business decisions. You will plan and facilitate the deployment of Pandora’s Omni Operations priorities and initiatives across the business, leading activities to improve sustainability as well as leading and driving Best Practice teams across all departments of our EMEA Distribution Center.
In this way, this role prepares and implements a robust foundation for changing and improving the business with high standards that provide stakeholders with confidence through the full change journey.


WE DELIVER - YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY WITH US IS:

 

  • Facilitate operational excellence across EMEA Operations incl. processes, system and business monitoring, data analytics as well as transformation projects
  • Deploy roadmap for future service offerings to support speed, convenience, service and efficiency aligned towards the Global Omni Operations 2026 Strategy
  • Responsible for delivery of operational systems (scope of Product Line), data and processes to enable efficient global operations
  • Responsible for support to the business in system implementation projects across the value chain i.e. WMS, TMS, SAP, engraving/services
  • Responsible for driving the Lean Six Sigma agenda
  • Proactive stakeholder management and cultural awareness to sustain confidence in EMEA Omni Operations’ ability to deliver what is promised
  • Foster and grow a high performing team culture within the department
  • Continuously optimize the team structure and manage budgets efficiently

To succeed in this role, you should possess great stakeholder management skills, as you will be working directly with many different types of stakeholders across our global network, such as the other DCs, General Managers, commercial clusters and global functions. Furthermore, as a leader of approx. 4-6 direct reports you also have the overall responsibility to ensure the competence level is ahead of the curve at all times.
Experienced leader who has a passion for process improvement, technology and digitalization.

  • A degree within a relevant field
  • 5+ years of solid experience working within Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing
  • Ideally, you bring previous experience from a leadership / people management role
  • Strong background from working with distribution centres, warehouses, order fulfilment (B2B/B2C)
  • Experience from retail, fashion, FMCG industry and/or consultancy
  • Experience from global organization (multi-sites preferable)
  • Are passionate about leading people and growing talents through career development, drive employee advocacy and engagement
  • Strong value chain understanding and mindset
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communicator, able to adapt to its audience
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Results oriented and focus on implementation and “make it happen”
  • High credibility based on track record with business results
  • Likeable character based on high integrity and always an intent with focus on what is right for Pandora

Additional information
20 travelling days per year should be expected.
