This role will be responsible for analysing the performance of the Retail channel and its store network in Northern Europe, providing data insights to influence decision-making and delivering commercial improvements. The role takes the lead in day-to-day and ex-post reporting for the local Retail Store business including KPI analysis, promotion assessments, store benchmarking and builds dashboards and workspaces as needed to empower the team with data. Additionally, the role will also be in charge of the revenue forecast and assist in ad-hoc analytics requests.

  • KPI Monitoring: Conduct reportings of the main Trading-KPIs on country, region, store and transactional level.
  • Commercial Insights: Provide commercial insights for the weekly Trade Meeting and present them to the team. Furthermore, create a feedback-loop by combining qualitative feedback from different touchpoints with numbers to formulate comments and actionable conclusions.
  • Ad-hoc requests: Collaborate closely with the Sales Management and related departments on ad-hoc requests to leverage growth potentials.
  • Business Cases: Support of the management around building business cases.
  • Management Reporting: Create and compile post-mortems with learnings on basket size, conversion, sales and customer experience.
  • Field Reporting: Collaborate with Global Partners to refine globally maintained BI tools for effective usage by non-Finance persons and act as a connector between Global BI and Retail teams.
  • Forecasting: Plan financial revenue streams by KPI drivers and operational forecasts in different markets and ensure that daily forecasts are accurate. Maintain and improve forecasting models in close alignment with Finance.
  • Best-Practice Sharing: Partner with Divisional Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers to identify best-in-class as well as weak performers to share best-practices.
  • Training and Operations Standards: Partner with Training, Marketing and Merchandising teams to analyse the impact of training, commercial activations and other measures on store performance at transactional level in order to formulate retail standards.
  • Data-driven Culture: Develop and train Sales team members in reporting to foster and nurture a high level of commerciality within the team which is based on numbers.

  • You hold a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, IT or similar
  • You have at least 1-3 years of experience in retail, fashion or FMCG industry or deeply data-driven environment, such as consulting or banking in an international organization
  • A highly collaborative and approachable attitude combined with excellent communication skills in English characterize you
  • You shine with your strong analytical and strategic mindset which facilitates you to manage large sets of data
  • With your hands-on and solution-oriented mentality you are motivated to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • You have a high level of proficiency with MS Excel (e. g. Multiple-Criteria Formulas, Pivot-Tables, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, PowerBI) as well as with MS PowerPoint
