HR Manager, Business Partner

Due to business expansion, we are looking for a seasoned HR Manager Business Partner to start as soon as possible. This role is to direct and provide leadership with Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes labor, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. S/he is to work partnership with the business providing specialist coaching, advice, support and influence that enable key client groups to effectively deliver on their business plans. S/he is to provide a consultancy service that delivers best practice and competitively focused HR solutions contracting with and drawing upon all specialty HR functions to support and achieve business objectives.

 

Key responsibility:

Company Culture:
• Continuously strive to maintain the build on the organization’s company culture by partnering with internal management, Development & Engagement Team and Retail Training Team to ensure a culture of “ Pride, Passion, Performance”
• Embed a performance culture within the business as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of internal and external customer service through behaviors aligned the Pandora Live Values


Workforce Planning:
• Implement and direct a systemic workforce planning process that identifies workload staffing levels and justify budget allocation so that the organization can meet its objectives
• Provide both transformational advice and transactional support (contracting with internal and external HR Specialist functions and services where required) on change management initiatives, organizational/departmental restructures, job role design, outsourcing, internal transfers, redundancy situations, in order to improve cost and efficiency, clarify accountabilities and empower delivery of great customer service and exceptional quality product


Talent Acquisition:
• Identify and plan for talent needs and continuously upgrade the talent brought into the organization.
• Direct the talent acquisition process with the goal of ensuring that the highest caliber employees are brought into the organization in a timely and effective manner


Organization Development:
• Partner with internal management, Development & Engagement Team and Retail Training Team to lead and implement the employee and leadership development strategy, plans and programs to support growth of organization
• Facilitate the talent management process including assessments, talent calibration, development offer, implementation follow-up, as well as evaluation and decision process.


Coaching and Employee Relations:
• Provide guidance, coaching and direction on internal employee relations issues according to company practice, working on corrective actions and performance evaluations. Promote a coaching vs. employee relations mindset to ensure that issues are handled from a more proactive perspective
• Prevent conflict and confusion when major organizational changes like moving, downsizing, acquisitions, or major growth occur with solid communication
• Manage potential legal exposure and potential litigation issues promptly and effectively. Closely coordinates and communicates with attorneys and negotiates with employees to prevent or contain settlements, court costs, legal fees, and consultant fees


General HR Management:
• Provide effectively supports to contribute to the overall HR team strategies, plan and program, by contracting through internal or 3rd party HR specialty functions, to drive
- Talent identification, acquisition and placement
- Training and latent development
- Employee engagement
- Retention strategies
- Performance management
- HR information system
- Base Pay, Commission Scheme, Payroll and benefits
- Employee relationships and communications
- HR Administrative Supports
• Set up or improve HR related policy and process
• Support in the HR reporting and data analysis as required


• Work on HR audits KPI’s:
• 100% recruitment fulfillment
• Leadtime requirement

 

Pivotal and professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline and /or Equivalent combination of experience and education accepted
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in sizable retail business with solid experience in Business partner role Personal Competencies:  > 8 yrs. is preferrable 


• Understanding of HR practices and process including all functions
• Good project management skills, strong culture building capability and employee relationship building experience.
• Good Microsoft word/ excel/power point skills
• Possess a strategic view of representation
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with leaders, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with different function team members of the organization
• Knowledge of China labor law and it’s practice in implementation
• Highly motivated, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
• Positive thinking, proactive and open-minded.
• Strong business acumen and have a flexible and result driven approach on managing challenges and changes.
