About the Team:
The Divisional Sales Director is responsible for the overall sales performance of the entire country and leads a team of Divisional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers. They will have accountability across all physical channels of distribution, including owned and operated (O&O) concept stores, franchise owned concept stores, and multi-brand accounts.
The Divisional Sales Director, East is a critical thought and strategic partner in shaping the future of Pandora in this important market and will report directly into the VP, Sales.
Your Role as a Divisional Sales Director:
- Shape sales strategy for the short term and long term development of owned and wholesale channels for your market, in accordance with the overarching sales strategy
- Identify trends, wins and opportunities to develop business plans that drive the revenue growth and profitability of the market
- Coach and support Divisional Sales Managers to meet and exceed sales performance in their region by maximizing all existing and potential points of distribution, with a focus on talent management, inventory management, brand standards and operational standards.
- Coach and support Divisional Sales Managers to drive service excellence in all points of distribution, with a focus on delivering a world class customer experience as well as achieve all commercial performance KPIs
- Monthly travel with Divisional Sales Managers to have a strong field presence, build relationships and gain a firsthand understanding of the business
- Recruit, develop and retain Divisional Sales Managers and store leadership as needed
- Challenge and motivate team in an atmosphere of mutual respect by fostering support of innovative business practices
- Support the North America GM by co-creating and executing strategic initiatives to grow and elevate the sales organization, including but not limited to new store openings, acquisitions and other commercial activities.
- Support franchise owners by coordinating the Franchise Business Review, Franchise Communications Policy and upholding the Franchise operational manual
- Develop and foster relationships with wholesale retailers and key accounts within the division along with bridging all channels insight and communication
- Work collaboratively with cross functional partners (merchandising, human resources, marketing, etc.) to support and participate in ongoing planning and business reviews
- Collaborate with Merchants to provide input into product selection, product quantities and promotional strategies to drive business within the division
- Control expenses within the market to meet budget guidelines
- Collaborate with finance to maintain accurate reporting on the performance of all geographies within the market
- Define and role model the target behaviors for the sales organization in collaboration with the wider leadership team
- Responsible for revenue performance and direct operational costs of all physical locations within your market

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field
- 8 years’ experience in a similar role
- 10+ years of multi-store and multi-region leadership experience
- Significant, demonstrated success in both Retail and wholesale environments
- Strategic development
- Strong understanding of the retail/ wholesale business, consumer and talent within the market
- Value based leadership skills with a proven ability and passion to coach and develop talent
- Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with the planning and executional capabilities to grow the business in the short and long term
- Self-motivated, high energy and driven toward achievement of goals
- Ability to build relationships, manage key stakeholder relationships and influence others internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
- Solution oriented and demonstrated ability to overcome challenges
- Strong understanding of inventory management to maximize business potential (i.e. product assortment, quantities, etc.)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working “in the grey”
- Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
- Experience working with key performance indicators and metrics, with an understanding of the behaviors that drive performance metrics
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead change management initiatives throughout the organization
- Thrives in a fast paced, complex organization
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
Travel Required: Ability to travel up to 80%

New York City: $180,000 - $230,000 commensurate on experience
