Director, Go-To Market

The Director, Go-To-Market will develop and execute best in class marketing plans that will help deliver the brand and business goals for North America. This is a key cross functional role within the company working in close partnership with Merchandising, Sales and E-commerce to ensure marketing activations are driving growth and delivering against commercial objectives. This role requires a candidate who can translate global direction into cohesive, commercially sound marketing plans for North America, execute marketing activities day to day, pivot and react quickly given business needs, and help support long term strategy and planning.


This position will be based out of our New York City office. 


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of all Go-To-Market plans from start to finish, in close collaboration with key cross functional partners - Merchandising, E-Comm and Sales.
  • Identify opportunities and risk for Pandora's Global Trading Line Up through the lens of the North America business and consumer needs.
  • Work closely with other marketing leads (Media, PR, Influencer, Design, Visual Merchandising to develop cohesive plans that prioritize campaigns and products, with detailed creative, channel and content plans.
  • Ability to develop and communicate strategies rooted in deep knowledge of product, consumer, commercial objectives, and market factors, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Have a good understanding of the retail environment and is well versed in creating a seamless omni channel experience both in-store and online.
  • Be able to pivot quickly to respond to business needs and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Oversee a team that includes Go To Market and Trade Marketing
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Global by sharing local insights, best practices, and learnings with Global business leads
  • Complete full activation wrap reports, identifying effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly


Something About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration
  • 10+ years of related professional brand marketing experience. Ideally, experience would include working for a Global company with both B&M stores and Ecommerce. 
  • The position requires solid experience as a Marketing and Retail leader. Luxury or jewelry brand is preferred. 
  • Positive, flexible and action orientated with a growth mindset.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop clear, insightful PowerPoint presentations, internal briefs and reports.
  • Self-starter who identifies areas of opportunity and drives forward efficiencies, processes, global strategies and goals forward with cross-functional stakeholders and clients.
  • Knowledge of MS office with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS Outlook; good typing skills; knowledge of database applications a plus.  Must be proficient in PowerPoint.


NYC Salary Range: $142,200 - $200,000
