We need your strategic and visionary mindset to lead our Design Management team in the PANDORA Global Office. If you are a strong communicator and can manage a team of diverse and creative talents, and if you have experience with working on creative projects and come with a strong merchandising background - then you may be the new VP of Design Management we are looking for.

 

In the role as VP of Design Management you will be responsible for the Creative Merchandising team, and defining the future bestselling products in PANDORA.

 

The team plays a key role in defining the future assortment in PANDORA, and working closely together with our Creative Directors in building a creative roadmap. Furthermore, the VP of Design Management is supporting the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in driving and rolling out the company’s strategic initiatives .

 

 

Your role:

As the lead of the Creative Merchandising & Creative Content teams your main deliverables will be :

 

  • Responsible for the creative merchandising of all cycles, optimizing potential and ensuring we are in line with 3Y roadmaps and line plans.
  • Optimize processes to enable a smooth development process from sketch to final sample.
  • Key interface with our commercial teams.
  • Support the CPO, with ensuring the company’s strategic initiatives are rolled out.
  • Define and implement best practice ways of working (WoW) and facilitate competency development of employees

 

In collaboration with the rest of the Global Product management team and overall product team, the new VP will ensure that the creative vision is aligned with Pandora’s strategy and overall planning in order to secure consistency in brand quality and recognition globally and across channels.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Apply a strong commercial POV to the product initiatives and new launches.
  • Collaborate with our Global Business units on defining the future product roadmaps
  • Ensure continuous development of processes & capabilities, ensuring agility into our ways of working.
  • Manage team in Design Management ensuring right professional development
  • Working closely with our Creative Directors, in defining the future of our collections.
  • Responsible for growing our Moments collection and head up creative initiatives in line with company strategy.
  • Lead a team of creative people with a strong product knowledge.
  • Identify gaps in the assortment and opportunities in the market.

 

Core competencies

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage large and diverse team.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and    creative teams
  • Background in buying or merchandising is key
  • Solid understanding and interest for consumer goods and fashion trends
  • Ability to coordinate, influence, and liaise between a wide variety of stakeholders internally across Pandora to clear roadblocks
  • Passionate for jewellery and thrives in a creative environment
  • Highly ambitious and intrinsically motivated with willingness to “go the extra mile”

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • At least 8+ years best in class merchandising or buying experience, 5+ years of experience from fashion industry or consumer goods
  • Experience running agile team setups
  • Stakeholder Management – Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization as well as across all functions.
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing,)

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage large team
  • Strong communication skills, particularly strong in communication between business and creative teams
