We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President, Digital & CRM to drive our digital marketing & CRM strategy and elevate our brand to new heights. This person will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance our global brand presence, drive customer engagement, and increase sales. This executive role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital customer marketing trends, a passion for the jewellery market, and exceptional leadership skills to guide a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and brand vision to grow brand penetration through an elevated brand execution, always on media pressure and a superior omni-channel customer experience. Ensure the strategy leverages digital channels and, new to Pandora, lead transformation to highly personalised, digitally focused strategy that drives awareness, engagement and revenue growth. Please note the person will need to be highly collaborative and work closely with the Ecommerce team, paid media team and the data and technology team.
- Drive the Transformation to a customer-centric, data enabled, digital ecosystem in which customer interactions are curated and personalized based on data (1st party) available. Lead the thinking on customer data (including working with the markets to collect and deepen customer data) to drive the next level of personalisation and customer connection.
- Digital Customer Experience: Lead the development of global Digital Customer Experience, robust market communication and support geo-expansion markets as needed, to develop digital plans and build loyalty and retention online programs. Curate communication in line with Brand Strategy and campaigns ensuring a customer centric brand building approach with exceptional user experience.
- Digital Strategy Development: Define and execute digital marketing initiatives, across website, email marketing and loyalty programs, customer data bases and personalization use cases in all owned channels. Strongly collaborate with Digital & Technology (D&T), SEO/SEM, social media and paid advertising teams. Continuously optimize strategies based on performance metrics and market trends.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management within the digital marketing department.
- Brand Content Management: Ensure consistency and alignment of digital marketing efforts with the global brand identity and content generated by Global Business Unit (GBU) and Creative (BRACO) organizations. Curate and deploy on digital channels the campaigns that enhance brand positioning and resonate with target audiences across all regions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing strategies.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and implement new tools or techniques to enhance digital marketing performance.
- Collaboration and influence: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including e-com team (Global Commercial and local Markets), D&T (Data & Technology), Global Business Unit (GBU) Strategy team, and Creative (BRACO), to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. Collaborate with external agencies and partners, influencing content and creative development to optimize performance in digital channels.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and ROI. Monitor expenditures and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget.
