Join our global Digital and Technology team as the backbone of our operations! As the VP of Delivery & Planning, you will play a pivotal leadership role, ensuring clarity, control, and consistency across our Portfolio Management, Change and Transformation, Agile and Scrum Delivery Centers of Excellence, Cluster business partnering, and overall Delivery Management.

In this key position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align strategic direction with portfolio priorities, ensuring timely, within scope, and budget delivery of our projects. Additionally, you will manage strong technology partnerships in collaboration with our global Procurement team, driving continuous improvements and maturity in our technology delivery processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Delivery & Planning function and direct team: Ensuring high performance through strong leadership, coaching, guidance, and professional development, whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.  

  • Facilitating Strategic Planning with constant alignment to overall portfolio: Drive the process of aligning portfolio planning and execution with overall company and technology strategies, ensuring investing in the right things based on solid prioritisation levers – and merging company planning wheel with D&T planning and execution vehicle  

  • Providing Transparent Governance, Performance and value reporting:  
    establishing and enhancing the right balance of Portfolio governance in a hybrid portfolio. Monitor and report on initiative performance. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders in the right shape and format – this includes facilitating Strategic Portfolio Review and cadence.

  • Enabling Cross-Functional Collaboration across D&T to improve portfolio delivery: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, address, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.  

  • Championing Process Optimization & Efficiency in delivery methodologies: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Establishing Governance & Partner Alignment: Implement and maintain governance frameworks and guardrails to ensure effective partner management and alignment with strategic objectives.  

  • Evolving Technology Delivery Capabilities: Develop and enhance capabilities in capacity management, workforce planning, Agile methodologies and transformation management to improve technology delivery efficiency and technology domains’ health and maturity.  

  • Cultivating a Collaborative & Accountable Team Environment: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the Delivery & Planning team.  

  • Optimising Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning: Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure efficient project delivery and team utilization across the delivery team. 

  • Building Strategic Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and establish governance and guardrails for strategic partnerships and DTLT sponsorship. 

  • Ensuring strong business partnering to our commercial clusters.

  • Providing executive support to the CDTO ensuring key topics of importance are progressing, and key meeting materials and artefacts are in place when needed. 

  • Leading and develop a high performing team, providing regular feedback and coaching, ensuring that colleagues understand the Phoenix Strategy and how their goals and activities support this.  

  • Building a culture of engagement and inclusivity, ensuring that Pandora attract and retain world leading talent.
