The VP of Consumer Insights & Analytics plays a critical role in fostering a culture where data-driven consumer shopper insights are central to decision making and innovation at Pandora. As a newly created position reporting to the CMO, the role has a unique opportunity to forge a global function across 10 global clusters and create lasting impact by building a high-performing team that will influence strategic decisions across product innovation, brand positioning, and commercial growth. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, within the Pandora Global Marketing Office, you will report directly to our CMO and collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Cluster General Managers, SVP Go-To-Market, and the Chief Commercial Officer. Your leadership will inspire collaboration across our global teams, driving collective success through shared goals, and actionable insights with a strong foundation in technology and AI. 
 

What are the key deliverables of the role?  

  • Strategic Insights Leadership: Define and lead Pandora’s global consumer insights vision, ensuring alignment with long-term corporate priorities. Drive a deep understanding of consumer behavior, integrating insights to shape innovation, brand strategies, and commercial initiatives. 

  • Global Team Building: Assess current team capabilities and develop a high-performing, diverse, and globally aligned insights organization. Implement a structure that promotes cross-market collaboration and knowledge sharing to address both global and local business needs. 

  • Data-Driven Impact: Build advanced analytics frameworks, enabling predictive and prescriptive modeling to anticipate future market trends. Drive digital transformation in consumer insights, establishing real-time tools and dashboards for on-demand insights. 

  • Cultural Relevance: Develop frameworks to ensure brand campaigns resonate across varying cultural landscapes, incorporating inclusive and localized strategies. Maintain thought leadership by forging partnerships with leading academic and industry experts to stay at the forefront of innovation. 

  • Program Execution: Create a multi-year consumer insights roadmap, linking research initiatives to business performance metrics. 

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure consumer insights are embedded in product development, marketing, and sales strategies. Increase retail excellence efficiency by increasing store conversion.

Background and critical experience:  

  • Consumer goods, jewellery, fashion, or retail industries, focusing on premium brands. 

  • Senior leader in Consumer and Market Insights within a global organization, driving data-driven decision-making and growth strategies. 

  • Extensive global and regional experience, successfully balancing HQ strategy with local execution. 

  • 15+ years in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or Analytics, with a proven track record of driving business growth through actionable insights. 

  • Extensive experience in leveraging data, analytics, and behavioral sciences to inform business decisions and strategies. 

  • Demonstrated success in creating and deploying innovative tools and methodologies for consumer understanding and market analysis. 

  • Significant leadership experience (10+ years), including managing diverse, global teams, mentoring, and organizational restructuring. 

  • Strong ability to align insights with corporate objectives, translating complex data into clear business strategies. 

  • Expertise in emerging channels, category visioning, and driving data-centric strategies across multi-market landscapes. 

  • Education in Marketing, Data Science, or related fields (preferred).
