Driving dedicated transformation efforts in D&A

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transformation Manager to work with our dynamic Data & Analytics (D&A) team and organisation. In this key role, you will work closely with the D&A leadership team to drive transformational and strategic priorities, focusing on enhancing change leadership, fostering effective communication, and shifting organizational mindsets.

 

You will play an integral part in driving the successful implementation of D&A transformation initiatives, supporting the development of business capabilities, and championing a data-driven culture and lifting data literacy across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transformation Management: Drive the planning and execution of prioritized transformation initiatives within D&A, employing a mix of coaching and sparring approaches to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Change Leadership & Capability Building: Work closely with D&A leadership to enhance change leadership skills across the organization. Drive initiatives to elevate change management practices, ensuring alignment with business priorities and outcomes. Foster a mindset shift that enables effective transformation and innovation.
  • Strategic Alignment & Execution: Partner with leadership to implement key company and Data strategies, ensuring these initiatives are seamlessly integrated with D&A priorities. Collaborate to define, communicate, and execute the roadmap for data-driven transformation.
  • Data Literacy Driver: Lead and support data literacy initiatives that enable the organization to their role in data quality, usage and ultimately to leverage data more effectively in decision-making processes and digital capabilities. Promote understanding of data analytics and its value across all D&A teams.
  • Business Acumen Development: Focus on elevating the organization's overall business acumen in relation to data and analytics, ensuring teams can link data insights directly to business outcomes. Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure data literacy is incorporated into all facets of business processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop and deliver clear, engaging communication around D&A transformation efforts. Ensure stakeholders are informed, aligned, and motivated to embrace new approaches to data usage and change management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly measure and report on the progress of transformation initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability.

 

In order to succeed in this role, we expect that you have and can demonstrate:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a transformation, change management, or project management role, ideally within Data & Analytics or technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong background in change management and leadership, with the ability to influence, coach, and guide senior leaders and teams through change and adoption.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to drive complex initiatives from planning through execution with a focus on results and outcomes.

  • Good understanding of data literacy and its impact on business operations, with experience in driving data literacy initiatives across an organization.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data and analytics efforts to tangible business outcomes.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple stakeholders, and balancing competing priorities.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse teams across functions and levels.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, cross-functional team environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Data Science, Engineering, etc.); MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or equivalent is a plus
