Sustainability Specialist – Climate & Nature

Would you like to take on a role as Sustainability Specialist to help move Pandora’s sustainability agenda on Climate & Nature and realise ambitious targets such as becoming net zero by 2040, with a 50% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Your new team:
You will be part of our global sustainability team at our Global Office in Copenhagen, that drives all aspects of Pandora’s strategic ESG agenda. You will liaise closely with teams throughout Pandora, including the procurement and finance teams at Global Office in Copenhagen and the sustainability team in Crafting & Supply based in Bangkok, Thailand. You will be part of a team with a great collaborative culture and high ambitions.

 

 

The main areas of responsibility are:

  • Contributing to Pandora’s achievement of its climate targets, and ongoing development of key environmental programs, such as water, biodiversity and circularity
  • Supporting carbon emission projections forecasts and environmental impact assessments based on strong analysis and scenarios
  • Drive select initiatives and contribute to improving the underlying methodologies, and reporting.
  • Project management and preparing strategic input and materials.  

 

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience working in sustainability in a business or consultancy
  • Proven experience with GHG emissions reporting and projections and environmental impact assessments, ideally including LCA frameworks and LCI databases.
  • Knowledge on corporate Climate and Nature frameworks (e.g., TCFD, SBTi, TNFD, SBTN)
  • Understanding of the global biodiversity agenda and its relevance to businesses is a plus.
  • Educational background in environmental sustainability.
