To ensure Pandora is set up for success, we are now looking for a Sustainability Compliance Specialist to join our Global Sustainability team. The Specialist will assist in designing and operationalising sustainability compliance across Pandora on topics such as packaging, due diligence, green claims, responsible sourcing, etc. The Specialist will also support internal and external stakeholders on sustainability regulation.
The main areas of responsibility are:
• Support the development and execution of the sustainability compliance programme across topics such as packaging, due diligence, green claims, circularity etc.
• Support the identification and management of relevant regulation and possible implementation gaps, e.g. drafting summaries of legislation, including interpretations of how it applies to Pandora and assisting with gap analyses
• Coordinate sustainability compliance initiatives throughout the organisation incl. stakeholder mapping, creating project management tools, developing data models to simplify reporting, organising and taking notes of multi-stakeholder meetings
• Support the development of guidance, training, and advice to the organisation on sustainability compliance
• Help prepare sustainability compliance reports for senior management and maintain records and documentation
Your new team:
You will be part of our global sustainability team at our Global Office in Copenhagen, that drives all aspects of Pandora’s strategic ESG agenda. You will liaise closely with teams throughout Pandora, including the procurement, marketing, product, operations, HR, retail and digital & tech teams at Global Office in Copenhagen and the sustainability team in Crafting & Supply based in Bangkok, Thailand. You will be part of a team with a great collaborative culture and high ambitions.
What is needed to succeed:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working in sustainability, compliance, project management or a related field in a business or consultancy
- Familiarity with key sustainability regulations (e.g., EU CSDDD, packaging, green claims, modern slavery etc.)
- Educational background in sustainability, environmental science, law, or a related field
