Global Supply Planner POSM

Ensure a top-of-class POSM value chain 

As Global Supply Planner POSM you will be working on an operational level to secure a high performance of Pandora’s point of sales materials (POSM) value chain. You will play a crucial role in the organisation by adding valuable expert supply planning and logistics knowledge to the POSM team. This position offers a good mix between managing day-to-day issues, tactical planning, and stakeholder management. 


A key responsibility will be to efficiently and proactively managing inventory of our POSM products at our Distribution Centers and protecting high service levels to Pandora stores, E-com and partners in our markets. Managing inventory includes ensuring high availability whilst protecting cost of inventory and freight.  


You will focus on purchase order management with suppliers and be responsible for monitoring and follow up that our freight forwarders and supplier delivers on time and in full. You will also be collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders from different functional areas – Global Merchandizing, Logistics suppliers, Global Retail Marketing, Procurement, DCs and clusters – providing relevant information across the value chain. Furthermore, you will also be collaborating with important external stakeholders such as our suppliers and logistics providers amongst others.  


Additional accountabilities include:  


  • Purchase order management, ensuring high product availability and right inventory product mix across the POSM assortment 

  • Monitor and follow up on delivery status from suppliers and forwarders to ensure proactive availability projection at DCs. In case of critical impact take mitigation actions to improve availability outlook 

  • Handle freight quotes from logistics providers to obtain the best possible price and solution to critical shipments 

  • Proactive communication around availability outlook, critical impacts and resolutions to key stakeholders in clusters, DCs and global functions 

  • Collaborate with demand planning in Global Merchandising to understand sales and demand forecast  

  • Maintain Safety Stock parameters in alignment with commercial priorities and product lifecycle in alignment with Global Merchandising 

  • Monitor critical KPIs at distribution centers, root causing of performance development and improvement activities 


Strong value chain capabilities and a hunger for improvements

To join our Global POSM Supply Chain team, we are looking for a person with experience within Supply Chain Planning who has a continuous hunger to learn, grow and create results. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a good networker, a team player and has the ability to collaborate well both with internal and external stakeholders.  


Furthermore, we hope you have or can demonstrate:  

  • 2-4 years of solid experience working within Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Logistics and/or Freight forwarding 

  • A relevant university degree within e.g. Supply Chain Management, Management Engineering, Economics and Business Management or similar  

  • Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry is a plus 

  • Experience from a global organization 

  • Super user in the Microsoft Office package incl. Excel and PowerPoint 

  • User experience in Logility or similar planning systems 

  • User experience in ERP systems (AX, SAP or similar)

This includes the global distribution and logistics set-up, especially anchored around our central DC and suppliers located in China, as well as global master data and general system infrastructure. We work closely together, help each other out and appreciate an informal and humorous tone. We are a part of Global Operations, which also consist of S&OP, Jewellery Supply Planning, Demand Planning and the Process Excellence teams, as well as regional operations teams across the globe.
