Join our Media Analytics Team as a Student Assistant and make a real impact on our business. This is more than just a student job – it's your chance to help tell the story of how our media efforts drive results and shape the future of Pandora. Why this job rocks
As a Reporting Student Assistant, your role goes beyond crunching numbers. You’ll be helping to create dashboards that not only dazzle with their design but deliver insights that influence major business decisions. You’ll be our data detective, validating numbers, uncovering insights, and bringing clarity to complex data.
You’ll work closely with a friendly and collaborative team who value each other's ideas and contributions. And when we say team, we mean family! We love a good laugh and keep the vibe light while delivering top tier work that powers our business forward.
What you’ll do
- Data Quality Champion: Be the gatekeeper of our data, ensuring that all reports and dashboards are filled with accurate, validated information that stakeholders can trust.
- Data Validation Detective: Dive into large datasets, perform rigorous quality checks, and troubleshoot any discrepancies to maintain a high standard of reporting accuracy.
- Dashboard development Sidekick: Support in building visually stunning and user-friendly dashboards that turn data into actionable insights. Don’t worry if Power BI isn’t your forte yet – we’ll help you become an expert in no time.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Participate in bi-weekly sprints to prioritize tasks and solve data-related challenges, working closely with a dynamic team of media professionals.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting Magic: Support various reporting-related tasks as needed, helping the team deliver actionable insights on time.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Curiosity and Quick Learning: You’re passionate about learning and enjoy digging into data, uncovering insights, and solving problems.
- Experience with Big Data: You’re comfortable working with large datasets, identifying patterns, and ensuring that all details are accurate and meaningful.
- Power BI Familiarity (Bonus): Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus, though the focus will be on ensuring data quality over building dashboards.
- Data Savviness: An understanding of data pipelines and relationship tables (GCP or other cloud platforms) is a bonus but not required.
- Media Know-How (Bonus): Familiarity with marketing and paid media is helpful, but not essential.
- Relevant educational background: Preferably with a couple of year’s left before graduation
Your personal skills that make a difference
- Self-Motivation: Proactively seek out opportunities to learn and grow within the team, contributing to both personal and business success.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data validation and reporting is key to ensuring that our dashboards provide reliable insights to drive business decisions.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working with both internal and external teams, adapting to a variety of work styles and team dynamics.
- Contributor: Likes to contribute to an informal and humorous working environment in your own capacity
