About the Team: 

 

In 2024, we continue establishing our Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team - a passionate team of thinkers, makers, and doers focused on enabling transparency and prioritization across Pandora’s digital portfolio with focus on driving the best outcomes for our company. Strategy, Portfolio & Planning is a developing team, with members both in Copenhagen and Warsaw. D&T’s portfolio consists of initiatives, project and programs delivered either following our agile ways of working or more traditional methods.
 
We work directly with business colleagues globally, senior stakeholders, and digital teams to develop and maintain our portfolio strategy and framework ensuring alignment with broader company’s goals. In a defined cadence, we ensure transparency on the progress and business value delivered across the portfolio and facilitate complex cross domain decisions to mitigate risks and to optimize for the best business outcomes. 

 

As our new Portfolio Manager in Digital and Technology, you will have dedicated areas of responsibilities within the team and will gain deep knowledge about the scope of your domains and portfolio overall understanding the initiatives, the key value drivers, business outcomes, enabling you to facilitate complex decisions regarding technical design & architecture, prioritization and dependencies. Based on your experience and best practice methods, you are expected to drive, optimize, manage and develop portfolio management related processes.  You will work directly with stakeholders and digital teams in specific tech domains and contribute to domain portfolio reviews ensuring we have right level of governance in place to deliver on Pandora’s strategic themes. The Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team collaborates closely with our global colleagues.


Your role as a Portfolio Manager: 

 

  • Drive lean portfolio management processes spanning from strategic direction over funding to delivery and outcome measuring
  • Develop and maintain technology Portfolio strategy and framework aligned with business goals 
  • Establish mechanism to drive prioritization and planning of the technology projects and initiatives & facilitate cross portfolio prioritization alignment.
  • Establish & lead Decision making framework and governance structure
  • Facilitate cross portfolio collaboration to optimize for the best business outcomes
  • Evaluate & track portfolio level risks and dependencies & facilitate and develop mitigation strategies to address risks
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of tech initiatives
  • Facilitate and maintain strategic level roadmap across the tech portfolio measuring outcome and progress 
  • Drive Continue improvement initiatives to optimize portfolio management processes and tools
     

What is needed to succeed: 

 

  • 5+ years experience from a PMO or Portfolio Management function, supporting a complex and large portfolio.
  • 2+ years experience delivering agile and waterfall projects as a project manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology development lifecycle with practical experience in managing tech projects
  • Proficient in project & program management methodologies and industry best practices
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a complex portfolio of initiatives across diverse teams and functions
  • Proven ability to manage portfolio risks and dependency to enable delivery and outcome realization
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and the supporting tools with a continuous improvement mindset 
  • In-depth knowledge of outcome-based planning and measurement, including the use of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized and structured with pragmatic approach to find simple solutions and getting things done
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive result
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. PowerPoint and Excel  
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA for project and portfolio management.
