Our SC&D (Store Creative & Design) team is looking for a Strategic Project Manager to lead key strategic projects that require a close cross functional collaboration and alignment with Pandora’s executive leadership team. 
 
This person will drive the process to ensure projects meet our quality standards, are within budget and delivered on time for the markets to execute with excellence. As a Strategic Project Manager, you will work directly with the leadership team and creative and functional experts within SC&D.
 
Furthermore, you will collaborate and build relationships with other Marketing functions, suppliers, key business stakeholders, and market teams, to ensure best-in-class project management.
 
The SC&D team is part of Pandora’s Global Marketing Organization. It plays a key role in the company’s growth strategy by designing desirable brand environments and creating the most memorable experiences for our customers. 


Key Responsibilities;

  • Lead project from kick-off and brief to implementation and testing in collaboration with a cross functional team
  • Ensure project scope and plan are defined and aligned with functional experts and key stakeholders
  • Prepare business cases to evaluate the benefit, cost and risk of alternative options
  • Oversee the development and facilitate cross functional collaboration and problem solving in a timely manner to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a full overview of SC&D projects and status tracker for clear stakeholder communication and alignment
  • Establish and role model good project management practices and governance within SC&D
  • Provide key findings, recommendations, test results and budget updates to senior stakeholders to keep projects moving forward

 

To be successful as a Strategic Project Manager, strong influencing and communication skills are required. Ultimately, the Strategic Project Manager should be extremely well organized and be able to oversee complex projects that depend on multiple functional experts and stakeholders in both Global office and markets.

 

Experience required

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in (Strategic) Project Management within Marketing/Retail, or in Management Consulting/In-house Strategy & Business Development
  • Managed complex projects with strategic importance within Commercial/Marketing/Retail
  • Strong analytical foundation based on quantitative and qualitative skills e.g. for creating business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to work with leaders of varied disciplines to integrate their teams and responsibilities into the overall success of the project
  • Experience from jewellery, retail, fashion or FMCG industry
  • Experience working in a global organization
