We are currently looking for a Store Digital Workplace Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the managed devices across Pandora’s 2400+ stores. The role will ultimately manage more than 10.000 devices ranging from POS, tablets, phones, administrative laptops, and other devices used in stores to ensure the best experience for our colleagues and consumers in the stores. The technology and devices are partly standardized, and the role is expected to continue to develop and implement standardization strategy from a device management perspective – while keeping a platform agnostic approach to existing and new services.

 

As a Store Digital Workplace Specialist, you will take a product focused approach to the services and be deeply engaged with the product squads and take lead in packaging, maintaining, testing, and supporting product releases, images, and profiles to the store devices. As part of the Store Experience Product Line, you will work closely with many internal and external stakeholders within Digital Development & Retail Tech domain; will engage and align work with Cyber Security, Platform and Digital workplace teams, as well as our external partners.

 

It is expected that you will take ownership of building a roadmap for aligning technologies across multiple platforms (Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Android) and continuously seek to improve stability, scalability, and flexibility across all markets. The requirements to our devices and technologies are rapidly changing, and one needs to be curious and open to new technologies and be able to drive implementation of new technologies across multiple markets and platforms.

 

In your new role as a Store Digital Workplace Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • manage workstations using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and similar tools
  • package and deploy software releases and configurations to store Point of sales (POS) devices
  • create, manage, and simplify images and profiles
  • deploy new Windows 10 builds using SCCM servicing or task sequences
  • manage updates of core retail applications, COTS software and security policies
  • monitor and improve the health of the configuration management systems
  • manage and develop a rapidly growing mobile device fleet (mainly iPads)
  • create and maintain documentation for application and OS configurations
  • ensure all new technology solutions are well documented and implemented into Store Experience and other service functions
  • collaborate with stakeholders and end users to understand and develop requirements to services

 

What is needed to succeed?

We are looking for an experienced professional who has some experience with international retail technology and a deep understanding of the Azure tools for users and devices (AAD, endpoint, autopilot).

 

Additionally, we are looking for professionals with:

  • solid experience with managing large volume of Apple profiles and devices using MDM and ABM
  • strong knowledge of MS Endpoint Manager (SCCM, Intune) and similar technologies
  • deep understanding of cyber security and the art of balancing this with user experience
  • exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users
