We’re looking for a results-driven professional to spark sell-out demand and turn market potential into unstoppable buying momentum. In this pivotal role, you’ll own and refine our sell-out forecast (value & units right down to SKU level) within our cutting-edge Range Framework assortment strategy, always pushing forecasting accuracy to its peak.
You’ll be at the heart of our transformation, championing the roll-out of our next-generation planning platform, O9, and ensuring a seamless, game-changing transition. If you thrive on precision, innovation, and impact, this is where you’ll make your mark.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the buying strategy for assigned collections or key markets, driving sell-out success.
- Champion the transition to O9, ensuring a smooth and optimized merchandising planning process.
- Deliver accurate, trend-responsive sell-out forecasts (value and units) to steer production and supply.
- Develop and refine forecasting models, conduct risk assessments, and implement solutions to boost accuracy.
- Plan and define detailed launch volumes for new products in partnership with Merchandising teams.
- Optimize inventory by managing product exits strategically.
- Collaborate with global and local merchandising teams to maximize market opportunities.
- Support Range Framework initiatives and manage tools through to handover for inventory and allocation.
- Contribute to market Q-GBRs with insights that sharpen collection and market forecasts.
- Achieve excellence against KPIs, including:
- 09 experience an advantage but not essential
Your Skills & Background
- Proven track record with 1–3 years in demand planning, buying, or allocation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
- Major or specialization in Merchandising, Buying, Retail, Fashion, or a related field.
- Industry-savvy with retail or fashion sector experience.
- Expert in statistical forecasting methods and tools.
- Analytical mindset, builds and maintains complex forecasting and analytics models that drive business decisions.
- Clear communicator, distills complex analyses into simple, compelling insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborator, excels in stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Commercially driven, sharp focus on identifying and executing growth opportunities.
- Agile innovator, adapts quickly to change, thrives in ambiguity, and sparks creative solutions.
- Tech-proficient, advanced in Microsoft Office; O9 or other planning software knowledge is a plus.
