As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of our Payroll function and play an important role in ensuring that employees across our organization are paid accurately and on time. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across functions, including Finance, HR, and external partners, and contribute to maintaining our high standards for payroll quality, compliance, and service delivery.

You will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation and contributing to continuous improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our payroll operations.

 

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including preparation, input, control, review, and reporting
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of salaries toward Finance and e-Income
  • Handle reimbursements and timely pension submissions
  • Collaborate with Danish and foreign authorities, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Serve as a trusted partner to HR, supporting payroll-related inquiries and contributing payroll expertise
  • Secure ongoing compliance with local legislation and internal controls
  • Continuously contribute to improving payroll accuracy, efficiency, and process optimization

 

We are looking for a structured and reliable team player with deep payroll expertise, a service-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering accurate results. Ideally, you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Danish payroll
  • Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, tax laws, and compliance requirements in Denmark
  • Experience with payroll reconciliation and reporting processes
  • Knowledge of Lessor Løn and SuccessFactors (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Experience with outsourced payroll (preferred, but not a must)
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Fluency in Danish is preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
  • A proactive mindset and a “we can do it” attitude that contributes to team success
