Specialist, Merchandising Controlling and OTB
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights and driving global alignment? As a Specialist, Merchandise Controlling & Open to buy, you’ll be at the heart of Pandora’s merchandise planning process — supporting consolidation of top down planning, performing analysis to identify key trends, variances, and opportunities as well as supporting in extensive reporting to enable key merchandising inventory management decisions and future buys.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll combine analytical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver performance reporting, extensive open to buy analysis and support decision-making that maximizes sales and inventory efficiency. Your ability to connect the dots between clusters and global teams will make you a key player in our success.
Key responsibiltiies will include:
1. Merchandise Controlling & Reporting
- Supporting he consolidation of top-down merchandise financial plans across assigned clusters in line with global strategy and financial targets.
- Conducting analysis to validate cluster assumptions and highlight risks or gaps.
- Assisting in the preparation of controlling and reporting across sell-out, revenue, units, ASP, and sell-in.
- Performing routine performance analysis to identify key trends, variances, and opportunities.
- Supporting variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and last year to inform discussions with clusters.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making.
2. Inventory & Sell-In (Buy) Controlling
- Supporting the assessment and consolidation of cluster inventory plans versus global inventory guidelines and commercial targets.
- Monitoring inventory health metrics, including stock coverage KPIs and stock indexes vs LY.
- Collecting and maintaining information related to future network changes and ensure inputs are shared with relevant merchandising functions.
3. Cross-Functional Business Partnering
- Collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain, and Merch geo-squad partners to ensure alignment on key data inputs and planning assumptions.
- Supporting communication between commercial planning and operational functions to maintain accuracy and consistency.
4. Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Contributing to improvements in planning, reporting, and analytical processes to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Assisting in developing and refining analytical tools and methodologies to strengthen business steering.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Merchandising, Supply Chain or Controlling.
- Retail, fashion, or FMCG experience is a strong plus.
- Exposure to global organizations is advantageous.
- Advanced commercial and analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage and interpret large datasets effectively.
- A collaborative mindset that builds trust and drives teamwork.
