Deliver value as part of our Global Merchandising organisation
The Merchandising Planner role is central to how Pandora translates market demand into commercial action. You will be responsible for building and maintaining accurate sell‑out forecasts that guide production, supply, and buying decisions across our global business.
A key part of your role will be supporting Pandora’s transition to our new planning software, O9, ensuring smooth adoption and unlocking new forecasting capabilities. You will turn complex data into clear insights, collaborate cross‑functionally, and help shape how markets plan, buy, and commercialize Pandora collections.
You will join an ambitious and international team within Global Merchandising, working closely with colleagues across Merchandising, Inventory & Allocation, RGM, Supply Chain, Crafting & Supply, and cluster teams. You will report to the Merchandising Planning Manager.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to improving forecast accuracy, optimizing merchandising decisions, and supporting commercial performance across markets.
Your accountabilities will be to:

Execute the buying strategy for a key market

Support and optimize the transition to O9, ensuring effective and consistent usage across stakeholders

Build and maintain sell‑out forecasts (value and units at SKU level), adjusting for trends and providing transparency to supply and production teams

Apply forecasting models based on demand patterns and industry insights, including risk assessment and mitigation proposals

Define launch volumes for new products in close collaboration with Merchants

Support product exit planning to optimize inventory and reduce cost

Collaborate with global and local merchandising teams to ensure successful local execution and maximize commercial opportunities

Contribute to Range Framework initiatives and support handover of tools to Inventory & Allocation

Participate actively in market Quarterly Global Business Reviews (Q‑GBRs) to inform forecast updates

We imagine that you bring strong analytical capabilities, commercial understanding, and an ability to connect quantitative insights with real‑world merchandising decisions. You enjoy working with data, thrive in a dynamic environment, and can simplify complexity for diverse stakeholders.
We hope you bring the following experience and competencies:

1–3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Buying, or Allocation

Experience in retail or fashion is a strong advantage

Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting

Strong quantitative problem‑solving skills and ability to work with complex forecasting models

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate analysis into clear insights
-
Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across functions
-
Commercial mindset with focus on opportunities that drive growth

High adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and an innovative approach to improving processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with O9 or similar planning systems is an advantage

Fluency in English

Approx. 10 days of yearly travel
