As our new Specialist, Merchandise Planning, you’ll play a key role in shaping Pandora’s buying strategy and ensuring the right products reach the right markets at the right time. Based at our Copenhagen HQ, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine analytical expertise with commercial insight, driving growth through accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
Forecasting precision meets global impact
In this role, you will generate sell-out demand signals and maintain accurate forecasts at SKU level to inform allocation, production and supply decisions. You’ll prepare Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans for collections and key markets, leveraging data-driven models to maximize forecasting accuracy and mitigate risks. Working closely with global and local merchandising teams, you’ll ensure alignment with Pandora’s Range Framework and identify opportunities to drive commercial performance.
You’ll also support new product launches by defining detailed volumes, execute product exits to reduce inventory costs, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights that shape buying strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact on Pandora’s global business and help us deliver a best-in-class assortment strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing buying strategies for collections and key markets
- Maintaining sell-out forecasts (value and units) to inform allocation, production and supply
- Building and refining forecast models based on trends and demand patterns
- Delivering accurate forecasts for new launches in collaboration with Merchandising colleagues
- Executing product exits to optimize inventory costs
- Collaborating with global and local merchandising teams to maximize commercial opportunities
- Supporting Range Framework initiatives and managing tools for allocation teams
- Participating in market MSRs/OTBs to inform sell-out forecasts
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in demand planning, buying, or allocation
- Background in retail or fashion industry
- Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting and data analysis
- BA in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent (major in merchandising, buying, retail, or fashion is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of planning software (APTEAN, O9) is a plus
- Quantitative problem-solving skills and ability to build complex forecasting models
- Excellent communication skills to simplify and present complex analyses confidently
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Commercial mindset with a focus on driving growth
- Adaptability and ability to perform under ambiguity while fostering innovation

You’ll join Pandora’s Global Merchandising team, a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to delivering data-driven strategies that maximize commercial performance. From our Copenhagen HQ, we work closely with internal partners to ensure Pandora’s assortment strategy meets customer needs and drives business growth.
