As the Global Loss Prevention Specialist, you will collaborate closely with regional market Loss Prevention teams, to develop and optimize loss prevention policies and procedures, develop and analyze reports to identify key opportunities, and work closely with various departments to develop global standards and processes that mitigate losses. You will be key in driving and improving inventory accuracy results and minimizing loss by identifying operational inefficiencies.

Furthermore, key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement effective global loss prevention standards and reports that are tailored for an exceptionally service-oriented retail environment.
  • Partner closely with the global loss prevention manager, and regional loss prevention teams, to provide guidance and support for loss prevention topics.
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day relationship with the 3rd party vendor for stock  counts.
  • Report and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize stock accuracy and minimize loss.
  • Partner closely with appropriate Retail, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Technology teams on global inventory counts and processes.
  • Support regular meetings with local Loss Prevention teams, with the goal of sharing best practices, leading specific projects, identify global needs/trends, and minimize loss, all while supporting the high customer service expectations that Pandora is known for. 
  • Develop and maintain an annualized calendar for all owned & operated locations’ inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement loss prevention best practices, including merchandise protection, cash handling procedures, and inventory management best practices.
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership on key performance indicators, loss prevention initiatives, and recommendations for improvement.

 

Proactive, Detail-Oriented, and Data-Driven

The ideal candidate possesses a keen data-driven mindset, a strong eye for detail and analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks. You have strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability of working with  diverse individuals and/or teams, as well as the ability to work both independently and in highly cross-functional teams. Additionally, you are capable of dealing with ambiguity and learning new systems and tools quickly.

Furthermore, we hope you can demonstrate:

  • A degree in Business administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Ideally, 2+ years of retail experience, working in a store, loss prevention, or retail analyst role
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • A high degree of proficiency in English
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
