Specialist, Concept Design - Interim

As our Specialist, Concept Design - Interim, you will play a central role in realising bespoke furniture and fixture solutions for our global retail concepts. You’ll collaborate with both global and local suppliers, translating creative intent into technical drawings, 3D visualisations, and production‑ready documentation.
You will support our Creative Development Managers and Concept Development Manager in ensuring design consistency, technical excellence, and alignment across all fixture production partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead the development of new store fixtures, lighting, and display solutions - from concept to market launch - balancing timing, quality, and cost.

Create detailed technical drawing packages for fixtures, furniture, and store layouts, including implementation guidelines.

Produce high‑quality 3D visualisations and realistic renders of fixtures and retail environments.

Test and evaluate prototypes and mock‑ups in our Retail Lab, ensuring design intent and manufacturability.

Stay up to date on design trends, materials, manufacturing techniques, and production methods.

Integrate best‑practice design and engineering principles into all drawings and specifications.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to realize world‑class retail design solutions for flagship stores and global rollouts.

Brief and collaborate with producers and vendors, ensuring smooth transitions from concept drawings to production drawings and fabrication.

Work across disciplines to ensure lighting integration, spatial awareness, and functional excellence in all fixture designs.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

5–8 years of experience in furniture, fixture, or retail environment design - with a strong focus on bespoke solutions.

Solid background in retail furniture design, cabinetry, or architectural detailing.

Strong proficiency in Revit and Rhino (must‑have).

Skilled in 3ds Max, V‑Ray/Enscape, Photoshop, and 3D modelling workflows.

Confident in sketching, visual storytelling, and presenting design intent.

Experience working with fabricators, suppliers, and production partners.

Ability to translate creative concepts into production‑ready technical documentation.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable working in an international environment.

A portfolio demonstrating realistic renders, detailed drawings, and fixture/furniture design is required.
