About the Team:

 

You will become a part of the Colleague Experience team as well as the Solution Architecture Centre of Excellence community. Your purpose is to make the overall People Technology roadmap and Enterprise Architecture vision come alive in the selection, implementation, and refinement of solutions. You will work in an agile setting assuming the responsibility for the solution design, ensuring it fits the overall target operating model and that dependencies to rest of solution landscape is managed. During an initiative, you will be deeply involved in driving the technical deliveries based on the defined business capabilities. You will be involved in projects leveraging and utilizing technology solutions to enable the organization's future-state capabilities in the People space as well as facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business architecture and outcomes. 

 

Your Role as a Solution Architect:

 

As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and evolving the domain architecture in the HR, Communications & Sustainability (HRC&S) space. You will work closely with our Product Management and functional stakeholders to ensure that technology implications are pro-actively addressed during the design of our business processes and operating model. With SAP SuccessFactors at the core of our ecosystem, you will solve design problems within the suite, while equally constructing a resilient and evolvable integration architecture with other platforms (such as ServiceNow) to enable a seamless Colleague Experience across solutions.

 

Beyond technical design responsibilities, we see solution architecture as a domain of thought leadership that combines technical understanding with end-to-end business process knowledge to inform and challenge other domains. Accordingly, you be responsible for architecting the core of our People ecosystem by engaging and aligning with all relevant functional stakeholders.

 

Furthermore, you will work to:

 

  • Understand business drivers and business capabilities, and determine corresponding system designs and configurations to drive targeted business outcomes in HRC&S
  • Proactively engage with functional and technical stakeholders to feed critical design as well as configuration options into functional business decisions
  • Review and suggest proposed solutions during the early stages of the process and provide pre-analysis of trade-offs to decision-makers collaboratively
  • Design technical configuration of solutions and integration with other components in the landscape based on industry best-practice, Enterprise Architecture principles and technical design standards
  • Work with IT operations and leadership team to facilitate the seamless flow of implemented solutions from configuration and testing into operations
  • Offer deep expertise in SuccessFactors suite and general overview of solutions, trends as well as emerging technologies in the HR domain to anticipate potential for business impact and to facilitate evaluation and selection of new solutions
  • Identify the organizational and financial impact of designed solution architecture.
  • Work with senior leaders to identify and assess long term business needs and strategies, identify opportunities, gaps, and interdependencies
  • Establish critical NFRs at the solution level to enable and drive functional requirements to meet business capabilities. 
  • Work with, and support internal teams, product management, and technical resources on requirements gathering, issue logging, and tracking, and ongoing configuration and maintenance of People Technology solutions
  • Provides mentorship to other colleagues by showcasing deep expertise in the SuccessFactors suite and generic software as well as integration architecture

  • Build artifacts and own solution as well as integration architecture
  • Support the architecture runway within the portfolio management
  • Enable best in class practices, standards, and methodologies within Architecture CoE
  • Execution of the long-term big picture strategy and tactical planning
  • Quality and reliability of delivered Products

 

What is needed to succeed:
  

  • 5+ years of experience in large scale HCM implementations, scalable system integrations and consulting experience.
  • 3+ years of lead architecture in enterprise application implementations
  • Strong knowledge in SuccessFactors suite (Employee Central, core processes, data model & peripheral modules) and HCM technologies in general
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration
  • General experience with HR processes and practices in Retail or FMCG industries
  • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
  • Agile experience, i.e. have a good understanding and practical experience with Agile delivery and Lean methodologies (SAFe, Spotify, SCRUM, Kanban), ideally with SPC, SAFe RTE or similar certification
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in a large or highly strategic organizations.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementations
  • Collaborative and inspiring thought leader, who is eager to share, teach and learn from others, whilst having fun along the way.
