About the Role:

 

Pandora is seeking a visionary Senior Solution Architect to guide the development and implementation of our AI-driven Data & AI platform. This role involves crafting a state-of-the-art platform that facilitates creating and utilizing data products across various domains like consumer engagement, supply chain, and manufacturing. The goal is to make data product development a seamless, fast, and innovative experience, ensuring our position as the world's leading jewelry company in digital transformation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify platform capability needs and drive the solution design data & AI use cases.

  • Develop and maintain architecture frameworks that support Pandora’s design principles and technology stack.

  • Ensure alignment and integration of solutions across various platforms and departments within Pandora.

  • Actively contribute to the Pandora Engineering Standards, promoting best practices in solution architecture.

  • Dedicate approximately 20% of the time to coding, primarily to develop proofs of concept for future initiatives.

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Pandora's Data & AI platform and infrastructure, aligning with the company's strategic vision.

  • Foster an environment of automated CI/CD workflows, enabling teams to deploy and test developments across various platforms efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role with a focus on Data & AI platform development.

  • Experience with Security and Data Security (encryption and tokenization)

  • Experience with network

  • Deep knowledge in designing and implementing data intensive applications.

  • Familiarity with EA architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.

  • Familiarity Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

  • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

  • Experience with Microservices Architecture.

  • Familiary with Software development frameworks like 4+1 Architectural View Model.

  • Experience with FinOps practices to manage cloud costs effectively, ensuring financial accountability in the scalable cloud architecture.

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

  • Extensive experience with cloud computing, database systems (SQL, no-SQL, data lakes, etc.), and cloud-based system integrations using APIs.

  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based solution architecture, specifically with Microsoft Azure, including proficiency with Azure’s management and governance features.

  • Demonstrable experience in securing alignment and adherence to design principles across a large organization.

  • Strong coding skills and experience in developing PoCs.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and influence across various levels of the organization.

 

Additional Skills and Experience:

 

  • Certification in Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud technology.

  • Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance standards.

  • Proficiency in applying containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes within Azure.

  • Understanding of SaaS integration patterns and platform interoperability.

  • Experience with cost-optimization tools specific to Azure, such as Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor.

  • Ability to translate complex financial, operational, and technical strategies into executable architecture solutions.

  • Knowledge of MarTech, digital, and retail(POS), particularly Salesforce and bloomreach, to optimize our eCommerce and store strategies Ominichannel personalization experience.
